Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food including Steaks, fresh Seafoods and gourmet Pastas. For those of you craving something casual we also have Burgers, Tacos and a fun kids menu.

Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.

Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

    The food was amazing just wish the portion sizes were a bit larger but that’s personal preference I guess.

    Good food but service could have been better. Brought dinner out while still eating appies. Waited to ask for desert. Coffee certainly wasn’t decaffeinated as I was up half the night.

    from app'ies to entree, the meal was amazing. We had a couple vegetarians with us who had a somewhat limited menu, but they were happy with their choices in the end.

    The Vault was great and I would go there again, The food was good, I had fish and chips and it could have had a little coleslaw with it to complete the meal. Our waitress was outstanding, she was there to answer questions, to fill our water glasses, to ask whether everything was good and then took our picture when our meal was over. BUT I have one huge complaint, the bathrooms left a lot to be fixed and cleaned up as well as you do not have a handicapped bathroom, which I believe is required by law. There is no way a walker or a wheelchair could fit in there.

    Great little place. Had the lamb shank which was very good. Great service and it all made for a great night out

    McKenna was a great hostess...server...bartender...all of the above. Don't find great or even good service much anymore anywhere... shes a gem.

    We had the best time on Cloverdale Ladies' Night at The Vault. My daughter and I spent over two hours there instead of what was supposed to be a quick dinner before we went shopping. However, our decision being helped by the fact that it was raining, we decided to stay a while longer (after checking with our server that noone was waiting for our table) and enjoyed another glass of wine. Food, service, ambience, everything was fantastic. Thank you so much! June Gauntley
