Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food including Steaks, fresh Seafoods and gourmet Pastas. For those of you craving something casual we also have Burgers, Tacos and a fun kids menu.

Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.

Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

    Very enjoyable meal! It was quiet (went early), the maple crusted chicken was so good. Also, the fruit crumble was very good too. Lots of more choices on the menu that we want to try.

    Our server was fabulous. I don’t remember her name, but she was going to nursing school so that should tell you who she is. My husband had the lobster and crab ravioli. It looked like it was a soup. There was so much sauce. You should really serve a side order of bread with pastas or with any meal instead of having to ask for it and be charged. I had the maple crusted chicken. I don’t know if it was supposed to taste like maple but it didn’t. I did enjoy it. It was good, but there wasn’t a lot of flavor. When we made the reservation, it asked if we were celebrating anything and I said it was our anniversary And in previous visits when we have been there to celebrate something we’ve always been given a free dessert or a glass of champagne or something, but this time nothing not even an acknowledgment of our anniversary. I was kind of surprised. We chose to come to the vault because in the past, we were sort of celebrated when we said it was our anniversary but this time nothing and we were a little disappointed in that because we could’ve gone somewhere else.

    We have been a few times before, and come back due to the great food and wonderful staff! They have an interesting menu, and the service is very quick. Highly recommended!

    Food and service were great. We ordered 9 oz glasses of 'house' white and red wine ie the cheapest and were given wine that - once we received the bill - that was $7 or $8 more per glass than expected. So we ended up paying $30 more than expected. Add on the taxes and our 20 percent tip that made the bill close to $40 more than expected. I'm thinking this was a communication problem that didn't end up in our favour. I thought you should know. John and Cheryl Parsons

    When we want to be sure of an excellent meal, we go to the Vault. Our service was excellent, our food was delicious as usual and we were fully satisfied. Thanks!!

    The shrimp dinner was very good. The menu here has a lot of items that we still want to try as well. Great place for an early quiet dinner.
