   I love the cozy rustic decor at The Vault restaurant in Cloverdale. The food and service were very good and we had a great time with our friends there.

   Overall I would rate my experience as average. I hate when my entree is served to me before I’ve finished my appetizer! This happened to me during my visit and I sent back my entree until I finished my seafood chowder- which was very good. My main meal (snapper with prawns) was brought and was obviously not fresh and was lukewarm warm. I was with friends and didn’t want to cause a problem so I didn’t say anything. That was wrong and I should have said something. With restaurant prices being quite expensive- you should expect a pleasant evening out- not so much with my visit.

   We have been to the Vault Restaurant in Cloverdale several times and have always enjoyed our dinners there. The staff are friendly and our waitress was terrific. She made certain that we were well looked after. We shared an appetizer of curried mussels and they were delightful. For our mains I had the garlic shrimp scampi and my wife had the schnitzel (special of the day). Both were wonderfully cooked and delicious and the servings were ample. The Vault has an interesting atmosphere having been a bank at one time. Prices are very fair and with the excellent food and service this place gives great value.

   Nice restaurant and it’s one of the best in Cloverdale! The food was great and the server friendly and attentive. Would go back any day!

   The food was very good. I missed that the crab cakes were no longer on the menu. The service was great. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but they did have a more customers on a Monday than usually so to be expected. One of our too go places.

    Thank you so very much for a wonderful treatment on my father in law's 89th birthday. You sat us in the vault which we hadn't even asked for. It made the dinner extra special and also since hearing is a problem for him we were able to have a very nice quiet time and he could participate fully in the conversation. The food was really good and good value. I don't know our servers name but she was attentive and sweet.
