Our first time dining in Valette’s new outdoor space. It was delightful as the space is nicely decorated and comfortable. The food was exceptional as was their private label wine. The service was outstanding. We can hardly wait to return.
All the effort to put in an outdoor dining venue has paid off. Staff was very vigilante with their efforts to be safe and we never felt uncomfortable. Food as always was fabulous and the service was attentive but not obsequious. We'll be back.
Valette makes the best out of difficult dining restrictions in Sonoma county with the same great food and service.

A perfect evening Of dining with friends (in our pod). The outdoor newly build deck is stunning and feels as though you are in the best of European dining.
The service, dining experience and food was extraordinary and seasonal. Additionally at sunset the curtains were opened to provide a view outside of the deck area while still feeling intimate due to gorgeous planters, plants and tasteful small trees. Fall decor adding additional ambiance.
Wednesday night the deck was mostly filled with our locals which felt so “normal.” Bravo Dustin.
We had a tremendous experience from start to finish. The waiter was beyond helpful in our food and wine selections, We started with oysters and the house-made pasta. Both were perfectly prepared. For entrees, we had the New York Steak and the Duck Breast. I don’t think I ever tasted a more tender and flavorful steak than this. The duck breast was equally delicious, tender and beautifully prepared. We finished with the Snickers Bar for dessert. The atmosphere was so relaxed and comfortable. We loved talking with the chef/owner’s dad, who went from table to table. He added a lovely family feel to our experience. WE’ll definitely be back.
Since seating is outside, there is no ambience in terms of noise. We felt like the four of us couldn’t even talk! Too quiet

We had a wonderful meal! It was our first time dining out in 7 months and we felt very safe. The food was excellent, as was the service. We loved the outdoor dining! We can’t wait to go back!
Valette has a nice set-up outside to be able to stay in business during COVID-19. The service staff were all exception. If you go, you need to try their signature Scallops En Croute. It's a special and creative dish that is yummy! The restaurant also has a nice story about the two brothers who had a lifelong dream of opening their restaurant. We saw one of the brothers proudly working away in the Kitchen along with the wonderful and talented staff. Help them keep their dream alive and support them.
Valette has done a wonderful job setting up an elegant outdoor seating area with lights, plants, curtains and heat warmers. The organic salad was so flavorful with a smooth, buttery blue cheese spread. The duck with toasted rice was outstanding. The porchetta with sausage came perfectly cooked. Truly a special evening!
Food and service were excellent! Give the circumstances to create an outdoor dining experience, it was excellent. I appreciated the extra effort to install a deck rather than just putting tables on the street and side walk. Very well done!

Wow. Valette has done an amazing job creating an outdoor space that is intimate, relaxing and beautiful. This is no "let's put a couple of tables and seats on the street" type of deal. This is a real deck with beautiful landscaping, tables, chairs, lights. They have really approached outdoor dining professionally. Bravo. What a treat it was to have a "real" dining out experience again. We did his tasting menu and it did not disappoint! It was fabulous. We paired it with a lovely Lando Pinot (and 47 Monkeys martinis to start). The service was attentive, careful and thoughtful. Can not recommend Valette enough. Fabulous job, just delightful.
Amazing!! Creative, yet approachable modern California fare in a comfortable outdoor setting. We enjoyed a 5-course tasting menu, yet Chef was extemely generous and gave us close to 10 courses to share. The highlights included a delicious beef tartar and the perfectly cooked scallop under the squid ink puff pastry. A cold melon soup was a lovely counterpoint to the pasta. The Its not a Snickers bar dessert and the peanut butter and jam brioche were delicious. The least successful dish was the seared steak. While it was cooked to a medium rare, the cut was a bit tough and needed a touch more seasoning. The service was timely and not stuffy. Overall, one of the best meals I've had in the last few years, including pre-COVID dinners.

Menu only offers 4 entree options, none of which appealed to me or my husband.
All our restaurants in Sonoma County can only serve guests outside due to Covid. The city opened up the sidewalks to accommodate diners. Dustin has one of the larger spaces. They built a wooden floor, hung cloth panels for walls and lined the perimeter with a variety of plants. It looks and feels like a restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the filet and my wife had the duck—both cooked perfectly. The steak tartare was perfect. We finished with a passion fruit vanilla panne cotta. And the drinks were well made. Dining at Valletta’s is as close to the “old normal” as you can get.
As always the service, food, attention to detail, wine and overall experience was absolutely perfect.

Fantastic food and great service. Have handled the outdoor dining very nicely with a beautiful deck. Signature dish - scallops en croute - was a great starter. One of the best steaks I've ever had, with puffed beef tendons and mushrooms. Halibut was superb. Server (Heather) was knowledgeable, attentive and charming.

This was our favorite meal in Healdsburg - a little more elevated than other places we ate nearby. The poke was one of the best we’ve ever had! The service was very attentive and friendly - they even gave us an anniversary card. This would be our top recommendation in Healdsburg for people who love great food and wine!
