    Loved our dinner at Valette! We shared a Charcuterie board - delicious cured in-house meats, cheeses, warm olives, pickled veggies. The duck - talk about a perfectly crafted and executed dish! Service was friendly and attentive.

    We had two different tasting menus so we tried a LOT of dishes. Some were to die for, some had issues. All were beautifully presented and all but one cooked as intended. The best dish was the carrot soup.. incredible! Best presentation.. the scallop inside of a big puff pastry shell.. unfortunately the sauce was too buttery. The halibut was a bit over cooked ( dry ). The house bread roll is wonderful, but salt was overpowering in the butter. The N.Y. steak was perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. The duck was excellent. Dessert featured a fun spin on s’mores which was both attractive and tasty. I think you get the picture. Vallete competes with several other Healdsburg high end establishments and on this occasion fell a bit short in the $100+ plate club.

    Valette is an amazing and exceptional restaurant in downtown Healdsburg. We dined inside by the front window, which gave us a nice view of the entire dining room and bar. Although keep in mind that the outside patio is an inviting and elegant option as well. Service was refined and impeccable, we had Alfredo as our waiter. His recommendations were spot on. Beautifully plated and composed dishes…and the pacing between courses was just right. We had the scallop appetizer, and then they served us an amuse bouche from the chef. Both were outstanding. My date had the halibut and I had the steak, definitely two of the best entrees on the menu. Bread rolls were to die for. We forgot to leave room for dessert but we will definitely be back soon. Best dining experience I’ve had in Sonoma County… We were both very impressed! And Bob…the father of the owners, and also a restaurateur himself, even stopped by our table before our entrees to say hello and check in with us and the other guests. Just excellent customer service from everyone throughout our dinner…from the moment we walked in to when we departed. A truly incredible and memorable culinary experience…and a very big thanks to Aaron and his team for exceeding our expectations, and for making our evening extraordinary :)

    Our favorite restaurant in town, maybe anywhere in th US! Hadn’t been able to dine here for a while but when the manager said “welcome back home” it felt that way! A wonderful time here as usual.

    My wife and I have been going to Vallete for some time now, and we are never disappointed. The food, cocktails, service and ambiance are always top notch. It’s always a pleasure to see the owner’s father Bob, who is usually enjoying a glass of wine at the bar and making small talk with the tables. Can’t wait to come back!

    We ate outdoors with some friends. Alfredo is the best waiter. Food was wonderful & artistically presented. A perfect evening. Still the best restaurant in Sonoma County.

    Birthday celebration for my wife. Dinner meal was outstanding. The restaurant was very busy that night and there was some delay between courses. We shared a Sonoma salad that was really tasty. We both had the halibut entree, and it was incredible. Very delicious. Ambiance is cheerful. Service was very good. Just a great way to celebrate the occasion.

    Always a wonderful dinner and experience. Day Boat scallops are our favorite. Honestly, you can’t go wrong.

    We sat outside on their “patio”. The wait staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. Their wines by the glass are excellent, reasonably priced. Charcuterie board is well balanced, with meats from the salumi shop next door. Delicious! The halibut is superb and beautifully presented. A special occasion place that we will return to again.
