We ate at the bar for the first time (we've been here several times) and found the bartender who served us most informative and engaging. The food (sauteed chicken livers, orecchiette with sausage, lamb lollipops, tiramisu and tartufo) were outstanding as usual. One of our favorite restaurants in Cleveland.

Incredible experience. To be honest, most of Little Italy tastes the same to me. Not Valerios. This place is the real deal. Great ambiance, authentic meals all appropriately priced, and a wait staff that doesn't take up too much space. We'll be back again!

Our first time here and it did NOT disappoint. Food was excellent! We can not wait to come back again! Tiramisu on the other hand not so great! It tasted like it was frozen and previously made (and still frozen) and had more whipped topping than lady fingers. Would not get this again. Our waitress Carol was amazing as well!

Valerio’s is our favorite Italian restaurant in Cleveland, and once again we were not disappointed. The restaurant was incredibly busy….not a single empty table, and as soon as someone left, it was filled immediately by another group waiting. While you might expect service and possibly the food might suffer, the opposite was true….the staff (thank you, Salvatore!) was amazing, as were our dinners. Over the years we have tried just about every item and special on the menu, and they are all wonderful!

We went early arrived at 5:30 and we were only customers. By 6 there were more people arriving. Food was excellent I had lemon chicken with a side of spaghetti. Great flavor in everything. She had tortellini penne with a cream source. Very rich and delicious. Good value for what we paid. Despite the cold, We walked the neighborhood after dinner. Great feel and can’t wait to go back !

Awesome meal and service. Valerio’s does not disappoint, I had the veal osso buco and it was tremendous. Only thing that could have been better was to be able to take the leftovers-we were headed out for the night and couldn’t keep them cold.

Valerios is one of our favorite restaurants. The service is always friendly and professional and there is a fabulous piano player on the weekends. But the main attraction is definitely their amazing food. You can't go wrong from salads and appetizers to pastas and entrees. Everything is so fresh and flavorful.

Excellent quality. Capable and attentive staff. Splendid menu. Terrible lack of any reasonable parking arrangements, but not entirely the fault of the restaurant. Anyone making a reservation should be warned about the parking challenges, especially if mobility impaired.

We were being treated for our anniversary which I did mention in the reservation (because there was a question about special occasion) They were very flexible as our plans had changed and they were able to accommodate us 45 min earlier than our reservation. There was an odd scent, sort of musty or perfume like but not exactly. I am very sensitive to scent but even my husband noticed it as it was quite strong. I would have said something but since we were being treated I didn’t want to cause any awkwardness. We were the first people there but by the time we left every table was filled. The food was excellent. I had the lamb chops, my husband veal and my father had a seafood dish. Service was good. We split 2 tartufos for dessert. They were good not great and I was kind of expecting a dessert on the house since I mentioned our anniversary, otherwise why ask, but as I said we were being treated so maybe one of them was on the house but no one wished us a happy anniversary. I ordered decaf which took a little while because we were told they had to brew a new pot. It was terrible. Really bad, not worth drinking. Again, I would have complained but didn’t want to under the circumstances. My father asked and so I told him. He tasted it and then he wanted to complain but our waiter was busy. As he said it’s the last thing you taste and it should be good. I will come back for the food and skip the coffee and just hope there isn’t a weird smell again
