    We were there for a Sunday brunch buffet service. There were many heated trays of dried out, mostly empty, bland food. There was an employee who came out to check on the food trays but never once did we see fresh food brought out. The handmade omelettes were dry, the beef from the beef carving station looked great but was hard to cut and chew. We had not eaten at Upstream for a long time due to food quality and thought we'd give it another chance. I'm glad we gave it another try but definitely was not for us.

    We have dined here several times in the past but it’s never been this bad. Our waitress was fine and food arrived quick, but it was pretty disappointing. Several of us had burgers. They all came out plated like your average cafe, just plopped on a plate, and didn’t even have a toasted bun. The bread was so dry it needed a sauce, but they put so much bacon jam on my husbands that he had to scrape it off just to make it palatable. It came with fries, but about 1/2 size order you’d expect. None of us ate all of our food or took it home. We expected better for the cost.

    Lots of mistakes with order. One person’s meal never came. When we asked what was up they put in a rush order and brought out something that we did not order and was not even on the menu 🤔 ate it instead of waiting a third time. Sodas were just carbonated water and waitress forgot to replace. Bill had errors. Meal was comped and waitress apologetic. Food was very salty.

    We've been dining regularly at Upstream for 25 years, so they are obviously doing something right. We had the pot roast and fish & chips this past visit - two reliable, well prepared favorites. Upstream's beers are also consistently great. I always recommend the Dundee Scotch Ale, perhaps my favorite of all beers brewed in Omaha.

    I am from Kansas. This is my second time here. Excellent service. The waiter was great and fun. Food was very good Noise was a little loud but we had a two year old with us and his noise did not interfere with the other guests due to the noise level. This is my favorite place in Omaha

    I was very impressed with the quality of food and the service here. I don't very often equate a brewery with having great food but Upstream is the exception to this rule. I wasn't blown away by the beers but they were still above average and coupled with the food and service makes this a great stop on a sunny afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Omaha.

    Upstream brewing Company is a good casual place for dinner with family. For appetizers, we ordered the artichoke cheese dip and the salmon rillette. The artichoke cheese dip was very tasty and served with beer bread. The salmon rillete was on the bland side, reminded me of like a tuna salad with mayonnaise, but with salmon instead. Definitely would not order this again. For our dinner entrées, we ordered the Nebraska pub burger with crispy onions, Havarti cheese, and a bacon jam. It comes with fries. Also, the black and blue burger with blue cheese, and bacon. Also comes with fries. The burgers were very good. Upstream brewery is known for their local beers and has an extensive selection, but we did not try any on this visit.

    I have been going to the Upstream Brewery for years for special occasions, date nights, birthdays, etc. Normally, service is decent, the food is good, and I'm generally happy with my experience. Last night I went out with my son for a special occasion. In all my time coming to the Upstream, I have never had to send food back. Last night, I had to do just that. The artichoke dip, which is a hot dip, was cold and the cheese wasn't melted, my vegetables were cold, my mashed potatoes looked like they had been sitting in the pot a long time and the edges were dry, and the schnitzel was greasy and luke warm. I sent the dip back, which didn't return until I was halfway done with my meal, and it still wasn't hot. I think they just put more Parmesan and chopped green onions on it and called it a day. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had there. I don't know what's happened to their cooking staff, but they need to get it together.

    Upstream Brewing is a great restaurant in the Old Market area. The menu offers a wide selection of appetizers and entrees, and our server Samantha was very helpful with her recommendations. Upstream has a good tap beer selections with brews that appeal to a variety of palates. The food we ordered was delicious and attractively served. My companion and I shared the artichoke dip on the appetizer menu. He ordered the salmon entre, and I had a bowl of the chicken curry soup, which was amazing. The manager Darrell visited our table and chatted with us for several minutes about Upstream's small batch cask conditioned ale. Very satisfying dining experience!

    It was our server's third day on the job and she did a very good job. We enjoyed the pizzas. The beer selection is outstanding. Curious that the Moscow Mules didn't have limes in them.
