We made 6:15 reservations and arrived at 6:05, but at 6:50 we were told we should go to Crave because they would not be able to seat us. Since we had 8:00 tickets at Orpheum, we felt it was risky to start over at new restaurant with no reservation. We were told they were seating on first come first served basis and not by reservation times. We eventually found a spot at the bar. At that point the bartenders did a good job of getting our reservation in quickly and the food was very good.

Union Rooftop is one of our go-to spots for pre-theater dining. Especially since so many of the downtown restaurants have closed since the pandemic. It is a lovely setting during any season, but especially in the summer when the roof is open. The food is always good and they have a wide variety of options.

Our server was terrific. She was attentive, offered quality suggestions, and was very mindful of our timeframe to get to our show. The Pad Thai and my wife’s Apple Chicken Salad both were delicious.

Weird just okay restaurant that gets converted into a "nightclub" later in the evening - wait staff will not tell you the degree to which your dinner is interrupted or let you know that your dinner should be scheduled earlier - definitely do not go past 7:45pm if you want a nicer dinner as it will otherwise be interrupted by furniture being moved and a DJ setting up.

It’s very cold during the winter. The needs renovation. We love to tip but a compulsory 20% up charge seems forced.

It was one of the most pathetic dinners I've had. The tables were being moved around because of New Year's eve, but they should understand that the people who came for dinner also paid the money, not just who were coming to the party. Pathetic service.

After eating dinner, spending close to $200 on food and drinks for my wife and I, and the rest of the party, was yelled at to depart as the testy turned into a club. We were told to go downstairs and pay a cover charge. We were planning and staying and spending even more money, but decided to leave after that rude exchange, and went to Hewing Hotel which is more welcoming. If this place expects to remain open they might want to change their policy and be more accommodating. Either way, I won't be spending my money there anymore. On top of that, it was freezing all night.

Worth driving through the blizzard to be the only people there. Wait time for food and drinks was very quick. The food was very good and staff was great. Felt a little watched being the only people. Would go back in the summer.
