   This is an amazing place, and we had the best table in the house, right at the edge of the terrace facing the ocean that was just steps from us! We had our anniversary celebration there and will do it again if we ever be close by! The food was delicious, 10+! This place is classy, romantic, creative, expensive, service is super and I can't think of anything else one would want from anniversary dinner in Kona!

   Excellent professional and friendly service from Bianca. Nice setting of course right along the ocean front. Food was very well done, priced of course to match. One of the best dining experiences we had on the island. Only noticeable glitch was slightly cold reception from hostess. Would definitely recommend.

   Hostess are very rude and treated us like peasants once they found out we booked from open table. Stuck us outside in the wind far from the rest. I guess that’s what happens if your not rich and you try to enjoy I nice meal for your fiancés Bday.

   By far the best dinner we’ve had on the BI. Everything was perfection. Our server was attentive and wait staff were on point with clearing space and utensils for each course and the views were everything you would want to see in Hawaii. We started with the oysters & a few sushi rolls. This was our first time trying Hualalai oysters- they were sweet, bright and not too briney. Delicious oysters! We also enjoyed the king crab roll! It was more crab meat than rice! It was one of the best sushi rolls we’ve had! For dinner we enjoyed the sashimi assortment (it was okay), the miso butter crab legs (to die for!! We would order one for each person!), Crispy Whole fish was spectacular- not only did it present beautifully the fish was perfectly crispy with the perfect umami sauce. I would order the fish every time. It is a full fish fried with the head on, it’s a large portion of fish and should be shared. We topped it all off with the chocolate soufflé- not overly sweet and a great end to a fantastic meal! The food was fresh and well presented. The only part of dinner that I did not care for was the pineapple fried rice- it was a little over cooked and too buttery.

   We had a great experience. Worth the trip from our resort. The best food we have had on the island!

   Doug, our server was great, low key, kind and his staff made sure our table always had water, clean utensils, finished plates removed timely and food tasted as expected. Cocktails expensive, but hey, it’s the Four Seasons. $35 for a mai tai is a bit ridiculous. I ordered green tea as I was DD. $28 for two Bao buns, ridiculous. Paying for setting which is gorgeous. Paying for service which was excellent! Five star service!

   The ambience and service at Ulú Grill was amazing as usual. The appetizer and dessert was very good. But, we were disappointed with the main entreé of the whole fried fish that we always had looked forward to. We felt that it was way overpriced and the fish itself was lacking any flavor and was slightly overcooked (fish was a bit dry).

    If you travel to the Big Island, I highly recommend splurging on dinner at the Ulu Ocean Grill. Food and Service were excellent. Fantastic venue right on the shore!
