I have been to True Food several times, which is why I wanted to celebrate my graduation there. At the last minute, our party size changed from 5 to 4 and I was unable to give them notice and appreciate getting a smaller table with minimal weight time. Our waitress didn’t introduce herself, so I don’t know her name, but she wasn’t very attentive. It was clear I had graduated, as I was wearing my stole and flowers, and had also noted it on my reservation. She didn’t acknowledge this at all. I got the poke bowl and it wasn’t very hot. My mom ordered bread, which she had to ask twice about and it didn’t come with butter. Our waters weren’t filled until we asked. I got the flourless chocolate cake, which usually comes too hot and it was far from. The chocolate inside wasn’t even melted. The table next to us waited a long time to get their food and I overheard our waitress mention they have a new chef who is getting adjusted. It was very empty for a Friday night, so we were surprised about the delay. Not a good experience overall, which was disappointing since I enjoy eating at True Food.

Great food, service and menu selection. I feel like so many chains have downgraded their quality or menu but not True Foods. Still wonderful! We loved sitting on the patio and our server was awesome!

Healthy, tasty food prepared with care. The grass fed burger was delicious. Their Tuscan kale salad is addictive. I dine at True Foods kitchen often and I highly recommend it.

Our experience wasn’t too bad. I love knowing our food is higher quality and cooked and prepared without seed oils. Staff was welcoming and good mannered although one item was forgot entirely from our order a side salad. My only complaint was a dish on the brunch menu, the breakfast tacos. The size of tacos were mini street size and only 2 of them with scrambled eggs. They resembled something maybe a toddler would have made? Wait I take that back I’m positive my toddler has made better looking tacos. It really hard when you’re in the taco capital of the US . Your tacos should really shine and stand out from the rest and they definitely looked and tasted like they fell extremely short of even a standard taco shop. Everything else was decent but nothing exceptional.

Hands down one of my favourite lunch spots! Everything from ambience to excellent service and food and beverage. Kale aid and kale salad with salmon is my standard but oh so many delicious things to try including seasonal dishes. Looking forward to next month’s lunch:)
