I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I would highly recommend it. The flavored lemonades are always so refreshing.

Not our best experience at True Foods last evening. We could smell the trash from the garbage dumpster which is right off the patio all through dinner. Along with that, we waited over 50 min for our food. Not a pleasant dinner. The manager delivered our food and knew we’d waited so long but made no apology or concessions. Disappointing.

This place is a hit or miss. Last night it was a significant miss! 2/3 of our dinners came out luke-warm, like they had been sitting in the kitchen waiting for the final meal to become ready. We raised the issue with our server and she removed one of the entrees from the bill. I’m not looking for a free meal, I’m looking for a good dinner for all in my party. There are many good restaurants which we will be opting for in the future.

Two things stood out about this visit to TFK in Fashion Island: the DELICIOUS salads we split and the service. A pair of the new seasonal summer salads shouldn’t be missed: the seasonal market salad and the Sza Cza salad. The first is more tangy and sweet and the other more savory and crunchy and both are super tasty. A tip of the cap to our server, Jackie, who was engaging and helpful as well as very friendly and cheerful. Our only complaint - the gaps between the shade screens on the patio. We dined at dusk and the sun kept poking through and was blinding at times - please consider not seating folks in the tables impacted by that as the sun is setting.

Food and service was stellar. One of our party made the comment that the Asian bowl was very heavy on the dressing. It was their first time visiting so may not have been savvy enough to ask for the dressing on the side and or to request it to be made with less dressing

Beautiful restaurant, great wait staff and clean mostly tasty food. Love the spritzers - only problem with it is the menu is extremely limited. I would like to see a few more sandwich offerings and protein with the pancake breakfast.

Have been to many TFK over the years across country including Newport Brach before. Couldn't believe how bad the food and service was. I usually never write reviews, but this was such a lousy experience, needed to get it off my chest.
