   Waitress was very friendly and easy to get ahold of if we wanted something. The food is just okay and for the price I don’t see myself returning.

   This was a miss. We chose True Food for a healthy, upscale, low stress vibe for Mother’s Day. We got the opposite; a stressful,, poor quality experience. It took 10 minutes for a waitress and another 10-15 minutes to get our water and coffee order. The restaurant was not outrageously full. The indoor and outdoor portions of the restaurant were at 30% capacity. Our waitress apologized repeatedly for the bad service but for $100 to not be served well and portions of your order wrong, we won’t be back for a while.

   We come to True Foods often so and usually have an excellent experience, so I will assume this was a one off, but the service we received last night was sub-par. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did come, it was cold. Instead of an apology, we got "oh, would you like a fresh one?", which seemed to imply our server knew it had been sitting around for a while. I get that mishaps occur sometimes, but there was no apology, or even acknowledgement of the situation from anyone, which is really my main issue here.

   We love True Food - we're Seniors, and the thing we like most about the ambience at Truie Food is the lovely families that always seem to dine at the same time we do. It's wonderful to see happy people being happy. Also, the food is just delicious and very healthy. What's not to like? Be sure you have a reservation as it's always packed!

   True Foods "TF" is committed to a path of excellence. Every menu item is exquisite. Service is provided with excellence. The only barrier to excellent service is TF's popularity and crowding. Even then their service systems are well-trained and executed. Their commitment to excellence in ingredients such as their refusal to incorporate seed oils illustrates their commitment across the spectrum of food items and preparation. We have to acknowledge good leadership and excellence in hiring and training.

   A group of us had brunch there this morning. It was too cool and foggy to eat outside, which I enjoy doing there, but the indoors is really lovely as well. And the food never disappoints. It's a really solid option for special events or just a regular brunch. Light and airy atmosphere and delicious food!

    I dined on a Saturday night with a friend - we had a 7 PM reservation. I had not been there for a couple of years and was looking forward to the salad that I really liked. I ordered it with grilled salmon for protein. My friend has special dietary needs and placed her order with several modifications, making certain the server understood how she needed her meal to be changed. She was reassured by the server that all her order needs were carefully recorded. The wait time to receive our meals was a bit long - yet acknowledge it was a busy Saturday night. When our meals arrived, both meals were not what we ordered. The salmon protein was not included and had to then be prepared in the kitchen - so a wait. In addition the modifications to my friends meal had not been followed (maybe by the kitchen folks plating the meal?) and an entire second meal for my friend was prepared with the restaurant manager overseeing that effort. (The restaurant manager and my friend know each other and there had been similar mistakes when my friend had eaten there with others.) The salad that I loved from other times at the restaurant had changed since my last visit there and was not the quality that I'd anticipated after dining there a few years ago. I don't know if there's been a change of ownership with a new owner taking it in a different direction. I do know that we waited a while on this visit for the meals we ordered and then had to wait again while my fish was prepared and for my friend's entire meal to be prepared a second time. I was surprised and a bit disappointed. The manager made certain the kitchen staff corrected the mistakes on our original orders. It just took a while on a busy Saturday night. It's a lovely local place for lunch or dinner - I hope a future visit will be better.
