   Fav place to eat. Waiter was missing in action most of meal. Drinks empty for long time. Even we we asked for additional drinks still waited until after meal to get them. Sadly had curry food. Very tasty but made me thirsty. Drank melted ice.

   Good quality has really declined. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and I was shocked at how bad the quality was yesterday. I have rested the crudite plate and it was a few leaves of lettuce , 5 tomatoes and cucumber sticks thrown n a plate- looked like something I throw together for my kids at home.

   I love this restaurant and the food. And eat there very often. My review is not to complain as such, but moreso to remind people to double check with your server regarding allergies. I was VERY clear to our server that whatever I ordered for myself needs to be gluten free, prior to going into my order. Yet, my soup came with regular noodles.i noticed this only after having a spoonful. Server apologized and took it off our check. However, the error was more important than the refund. Thankfully, I do not have celiac; so the one spoonful did not give e me a reaction. I usually double check with the employee when my meal arrives. I did not this time. This review is to remind others to do so.

    Service was slow, apps were brought out with no serving plates had to wait unusually long time for plates. Seating was by the entrance which was uncomfortable. Food was good quality and server was nice just not very attentive overall.

    I am a regular diner at True Food Kitchen but this was my first and last time at Fairfax. We ate outside and our seating area was comfortable and warm when we arrived, thanks to the heat lamps. About ⅓ of the way through our meal it was very cold and we realized the heat lamp had gone off. We asked for them to turn it back on. The management would not turn the heat lamp back on because on the other side of the outdoor space it was too hot and the customers on that side complained. Apparently the entire heat lamp system is on the same circuit. According to our waitress this is an ongoing problem. I will not go to a restaurant that makes decisions on which customers to treat right. And since they know this is a problem, fix it! Don’t offer heated outdoor seating if you won’t put the heat on.

    Pros: Our waiter was great and very attentive. Coffee was fresh and tasty. Cons: More comfortable chairs. The chairs are small and have no cushions. The music played needs to be lowered down and softer. Two small tacos for breakfast tacos was not enough breakfast compared to bowls and other dishes. They should add another one to it to justify the price.

    Food and service are always first-rate. The menu is great for our plant-based lifestyle and our other family who love their meat. Staff was very accommodating. We sat in the heated patio but one of their windows was open and it was broken. They sat us there first. We asked to be re-seated and they happily obliged closer to a heater and away from the broken window. We love True Food! Great restaurant where everyone can have a healthy, delicious meal!

    I am gluten and dairy free (doctor's orders). I was able to get a main course and dessert that were compliant. Our waiter was the perfect amount of attentiveness. Because of their options for me, I will be going back.

    I love this place and eat here frequently. For some reason, it took almost 40 minutes before we got our food order taken. Thankfully, this is unusual. Food was great.

    I met a colleague at 11 am so we were their second customer of the day. The waitress, Samantha was phenomenal and the food was amazing. I thought the cost was reasonable cup of soup, 2 entrees, cup of cappuccino, and 4 juice drinks $97 plus $23 tip. Booking again 2 days later, if the tells you anything.

    First time back in a while. Food and service were excellent and portions seem to be bigger than they used to be. Love the spaghetti squash casserole and flourless chocolate cake was divine!
