   Wow! Visited for restaurant week. We were sat at a cute circle table in its own little space in the back. Server was fantastic with suggestions. We were not rushed, and all the components of the meal were thoughtful and extremely well done. Loved it! So glad we tried this restaurant and will definitely be back.

   Chef was not working on Saturday morning, during Restaurant Week so food came out a bit slow. We had brunch and all chose different options for the courses, so we could sample each other’s items. Our food was very good, although not piping hot. No one finished the biscuits and gravy, as the chorizo sausage had more spice than traditional pork in the gravy. Jill was an attentive server and provided everything we needed without being intrusive. She was a delight and we would request her again. The ambiance the dining area was calm, relaxing and mostly allowed for private conversations, we will return in another evening to try the dinner menu and fewer children and families preparing for sporting events. The quantity of food was sufficient, however, not an exceptional value for the cost. There was one slice of French toast, one biscuit and nothing extra served with the breakfast bowl. We will return when in the area.

   My s/o and I went for KCRW at 7:00 on Friday night. We were promptly greeted and taken to our table by the host. Our server, Phil, was quick to introduce himself and bring water. My s/o ordered the strawberry açaí cosmopolitan, which they quite enjoyed. For our first courses, we ordered the ribs and the potato soup. The two ribs came on a bed of kettle cooked chips and a small side of greens with a halved cherry tomato. We thought the plating was a bit silly, but it tasted great. The potato soup was very good. For our main courses, we ordered the filet covered in a red wine mushroom ragu and the gnocchi, which we again both enjoyed. The steak was cooked both medium rare and medium well on the other end. The gnocchi was pillowy and the sauce was creamy and delicious, with just the right amount of salt. For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake mousse and spiced pineapple cake. Both of these were excellent- the mousse was perfectly tart, and the cake was well balanced with spice and sweetness. Phil regularly checked on us throughout our meal, ensuring everything tasted good and waters were filled. Overall, we’re glad we went.

   Food was amazing. Service...not so much. I ordered coffee when I ordered my meal. 1 hour later waitress had mentioned twice that she had to brew it. I cancelled the order and no mention was made as to why it was never served. Our meal took two hours as we had lots of time between courses. Check was incorrect (service charge and 18% gratuity added) when we asked about it it was corrected. We would return for the food.

   Great environment, Staff was attentive, food was excellent. This restaurant is in a Hotel, and I am not sure if people realize what a great place this is to have a quiet lunch or dinner. I would go back here again for lunch or dinner, and I would highly recommend this to others.

   Went for Restaurant Week. The gnocchi was amazing! Everything was really fresh and delicious. The ambience was great and the servers were all super friendly.

    What a hidden gem! We came in for Restaurant Week, having never eaten here before and we were very pleasantly surprised. We normally don't gravitate to hotel restaurants. The food was outstanding and the wine selection excellent. Our only complaints were the physical ambiance of the space and a high level of noise. First of all, we were not guests of the hotel, so we entered through the exterior door, following a dimly lit exterior sign. It led us down a very dark path with minimal lights, water on the sidewalk, and nothing to indicate we were even coming through the right entrance. There was no one at the host stand when we entered. The space is very large, and thankfully, they segregate dinner customers at the rear of the restaurant so it felt more full (assume the front part we walked through is for breakfast and lunch customers). We were seated at a banquette table with two other tables, enclosed on either end by hard wall and glass; therefore, we could hear every word spoken at the other 2 tables. The decor is a little outdated and could definitely benefit from a refresh. With a little investment by Doubletree, this could be a food-lovers heaven. We will come back.
