   Overall our experience was amazing!! Now we did go in mud season but it was so nice because it wasn’t busy, the food we got was delicious and our server even took pictures of us outside on the viewing deck!! The views were unbelievable!!! I would go back if I was in the area!!

   The vibe and the view in this place is so chill and beautiful, respectively. We ordered 2 salads, pesto pasta and Italian wedding soup. Oh and Italian lemon cake (delish). All were good. The server was very efficient and sweet; not rushing us out the door even tho we were the last to leave. The bar is beautiful. I am leaving A Basin and am going to go immediately to that bar and have a drink.

   This is such a beautiful location to be such a disappointment! We were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant at 5:00 pm. We had a server in-training, with another server shadowing her. They came to our table so frequently that we could not carry a conversation with our guests without their frequent interruptions. Our simple food order was especially disappointing; 2 large Cobb salads (lettuce, tomato, 3 slices of an avocado and micro bits of chicken), a chicken Caesar (chicken was dried out and even though anchovies were requested, it came without), the halibut was nothing special for the price. I cannot recommend Traverse other than for having a great view!!!

   My pasta was good. Stacey's scallops were good but sauce too spicy and her cobb salad was the worst she has ever tasted. Overall expensive.

   Beautiful view, great service. We had a party of four- ordered the Calmari, Wings, scallops for appetizers. Airline Chicken, Caprese Pasta for dinner. All were very good! The only disappointment was the Vanilla Creme Brulee, wasn't so great!

    Beautiful view, friendly staff & delicious food. We had the brussel sprouts & scallops for appetizers. The scallops were the best! For entree, elk & halibut, both cooked to perfection. The margarita & martini cocktails didn’t disappoint. We topped our lovely evening off with the decadent cheesecake desert.

    We had the elk chili and the elk medallions. Both very good. Not a large wine selection, but they did have a lot of fancy craft beers to pick from.

    We were staying at the Lodge and Traverse exceeded our expectations! Not fancy but the views are amazing and all the food was simple and well prepared with strong cocktails. Would definitely eat here again.

    I would give a 0 star if it was possible. My wife and i are on vacation to breckenridge. Unfortunately we chose Traverse to spend a romantic evening. This is the kind of place where they could care less about service, because you already paid them gratuity upfront. i set the reservation 2 weeks ago for Valentines day. We go to the restaurant for a PRE SET menu. Got there 7pm, we got the first course (out of 4 courses) roughly 30 minutes later. A hour goes by and I try to be as polite as possible, but they could care less that we were watching other people finish their meals, that got there after us. I finally got my waitresses attention and asked them to box up my meal because my wife wasnt feeling well. She said it would be right out in boxes, not asking if she could do anything to help. I got the bill, paid it immediately while getting 1 course out of the 4 courses. $320 including 20% for stellar service…. We waited and they ignored us, then i decided enough was enough. I got up and told the waitress the reason I was leaving, and she giggled at me. I called the manager while driving back to my AirBnb 45 minutes away in the snow, and all he could say is come back for the to go boxes. No thanks, i dont like spit in my food. Thanks for the worst imaginable valentines day, and stealing $320 from me. Sad thing is, they were not even busy, and it was a PRE set menu.... how is it possible they couldn't get a order out within a hour?? I’ve never in my life walked out of a restaurant, this is how bad it was. Most restaurants I’ve been to that charge this kind of money make sure everything is at least satisfactory. It’s not the money I wasted that gets under my skin, it’s my time they completely wasted and will never get back. Don’t waste your money on this place, Olive Garden blows them out of the water.

    Excellent Valentine’s Day dinner in all respects. Great service and food, and it was nice to be away from all of the hustle and bustle of Breck’s Main St. restaurants. Quieter environment, but not at all stuffy or pretentious. Definitely worth the short drive.

    We arrived at our 5:45 reservation (my choices were 5:45pm or 8:30pm) and the view off the deck is SPECTACULAR. I was hoping to be at a table by the window, but when asked, hostess says, “we are booked solid tonight and those are reserved!” Me, thinking to myself, well, I made reservations too. Keep in mind it’s pretty dark by 6:15/6:20pm. Nobody sat at the several tables by the windows until 6:30pm when it was pitch black out. Sure would have been nice to enjoy the view for 30 min as we couldn’t see much from our interior table. The food was amazing. Elk was incredibly tender and delicious. Halibut was just the tiniest bit overcooked but forgivable. The scallop gratin appetizer was to die for. Myles did a great job as server. It’s very expensive ($53 for elk and $48 for halibut) but we may be back. Would recommend.

    Service was excellent. Started with wings, sweet chili, they were delicious and accommodated our request for all flats. Main course we shared, a burger and an order of the halibut. Halibut was over cooked quite a bit. Burger was delicious but also well done, not a huge deal I still enjoyed it. Desert was A+. If halibut had been cooked right 5 stars for sure. We will return, we enjoyed our evening there.
