Service wasn’t pleasant - calamari appetizer wasn’t seasoned and the batter wasn’t really attached to it just kind of put on the plate ... ribeye was really tough lacked flavor. Overall there wasn’t a wow factor at all... completely forgettable. Restaurant was pretty empty so couldn’t have used that as an excuse. Disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant in the Parker area. We hadn't been here for several years and were excited for a return visit. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting with gorgeous views of the mountains. The food, unfortunately, was a great disappointment. I ordered the Steak Oscar which would have been lovely had the chef had not overcooked the filet. A little seasoning on the beef, such as salt, would have also been welcomed. My husband chose the Build Your Own Bonanza, a side of creamed spinach, and truffle fries. Portions were minuscule, the truffle oil almost nonexistent, and the creamed spinach bland. The best part of dinner was the wine we ordered. At this price point, there are so many other dining options in the metro area where the food is remarkable and memorable. We won't make another return visit here.

Have been eating here for many years and the quality has really gone downhill. The Steak Oscar was dry and not good quality,Ordered med, the crab meat was brown and dry, the sides were just really off. Worst meal I have ever had here and for 3 people a bill of $140 is not my idea of a good meal for me and the family. Will not be going back here anytime soon.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants and have gone there for a few years but they have changed for the worst. All of the game meat options are gone from the menu and the desserts are 1/4 the size but the same price. My date and I didn't order alcohol or appetizers and the waiter actually gave us a look of disgust. The rest of the meal he was rude and treated is like we were wasting his time. We will not be returning again.

My wife and I went to spend dinner here to celebrate her first day off after working for 30 days straight with overnights. While the ny strip we each had were good and the romancing the stone experience was fun, I was disappointed that a steak house could possibly be out of filet mignon. The decor was clean, lackluster but clean. Our waiter was a young man, whom was not very attentive to our table, instead chose to cater to his other 2 tables of families. There was maybe a total of 5 tables occupied in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. Probably our last time to Trappers, in favor of a more contemporary and friendly steak joint.

I wouldn’t recommend it, I had a business dinner and the service was very weak, the food wasn’t great (poor value) and the restaurant was smoky, need some ventilation. The manger apologized and knocked off some of the bill, but I doubt if I’ll be back.

We have been to Trapper’s many times before, the new year new us changes that have been made are not in their favor. Food was cold, mashed potatoes were not good - didn’t even resemble mashed potatoes, steamed veggies were soggy. Dessert was terrible. We will not be back.

This was the first time I have been to Trapper's. We had happy hour at the bar before dinner. The calamari appetizer was cold. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter Andy was a bit rude and seemed annoyed by questions. Dinner was good, but the mashed potatoes didn't look or taste like mashed potatoes. We had an early dinner reservation and by the time we left the place was filled with smoke that was very annoying. I would like to try Trappers again, I usually give places two visits before writing them off. Very nice views from the 4th floor.

Anniversary dinner was amazing. Good food, good service, good ambiance. Was a little disappointed live music was not playing on a Saturday night and the fireplace was not lit. Would’ve added to the ambiance. The “romancing the stone” option is a unique and memorable touch.

It was our first visit to Trapper's Chop House, we were very happily surprised. My steak was cooked right, and the "old school" larger baked potato it came with all the toppings. My wife had surf-&-turf.
Her steak was a bit over cooked, but she said the favor was very good. The server could have paid more attention, it got my drink order wrong, and i think he should have suggested to my wife, that based on the size on the steak she ordered, that she order it med-rare, and it may have been cooked just right.
But our overall experience was very good. We will be back.

It was a busy valentine's night, so I can cut them some slack, but the service was pretty slow. The steaks were good, but not top grade. I started with a very nice take on French onion soup, however, so, all in all, pretty nice. We'll definitely go back, and maybe the next time we'll be able to give them more stars.

Food and Service was excellent but it was way too cold. We were told they had to open a door because it was so smokey. We've been here for dinner many times and this was the first time it was smokey...and cold. Temperature really took the romance out of our Valentine Day dinner. We'll go back and hope for the right temp-ambiance.

This place was fun, but a steep price for quality of food. My husband enjoyed the romancing the stone experience. However, outside of that it was like eating fast food. The calamari tasted like fish sticks, my blackened shrimp, three for 18 dollars, was overwhelming & tough and I only got two down. The cavatappi was almost flavorless. For over $100 for 2ppl this was far below expectation.

We love this restaurant and the Romancing the Stone option, We really wish we would get a more generous serving of vegetables with this dish only got 3 small pieces. I have requested this several times before. I was disappointed that the price has increased for the Stone. Always a nice ambiance, but miss the live music tha Trapper's used to have. Any chance of bringing that back?

We have never experienced a less than great experience but our dinner experience on 1/6/19 was very disappointing. We went there for our daughters birthday, service was very slow and we had to flag our waiter down numerous times to ask for items missed. Our waiter would go missing after requesting things like (silverware, table bread, refills on soft drinks and water) so we would ultimately have to flag someone down. In an effort to try not to lose focus on the occasion that took us there we still over tipped the waiter because that’s just what we do but had hoped he would make some effort to acknowledge the issues and he never did. The next day I saw two charges on my card, one amount for $117 and then the amount of our dinner. I’m very upset to see some random charge so I’m waiting to see if it drops off before I call to dispute. Needless to say, we won’t be back any time soon.

We went on a Sunday evening when it was not very busy. It was delightfully quiet and peaceful. Our server, Mike, was professional, friendly and attentive - just right. The food was very good and at a price that was appropriate for a "special occasion" at a good restaurant. I want to try their happy hour!
