Menu choices seemed good, server seemed pleasant but over worked, and I'd say half of the table like their meals while the other half thought it was just average at best for the prices charged per plate
Good food. We liked the tapas style.
Waitress was poor. She walked by our table many times (10+ minutes) and did not take out order. I had to ask her to take our order. Food was average at best.
The food was good, as always. The noise level was unreal. I've been here several times before and this wasn't a problem. Not sure what's changed. This was a Friday at lunch. I would recommend going when it's emptier because otherwise it's a good, basic restaurant.
Food and employees were great. The room that is able to close both doors was a nice touch.
Have been in Township few times before but not in the last year. Noisy in the back room due to an event in the very back. Moved to front, noise level was better and we could talk. Ordered fries - ok, wings - very dry and burned, could not eat, tuna with chips was very good and meatballs. Wine was good but we made our own choice as staff did not know the white wines they sell at all and there was nobody that could give a recommendation?? at around 9pm when trying to get anther half bottle of the white we were told that we need to buy two????? unreal, what happened here?? We left. I have not seen this kind of service elsewhere. I give this restaurant now only a one star. Will not come back again.
It was okay
Our server Kate was very professional one of the best I have experienced in Calgary
Excellent service, good food
Exceptional service and great food
Cobb salad very average - bad lettuce. Lipstick on water glass had to send back. Very noisy restaurant.
Have used this restaurant several times as it in a good spot for downtown meetings.
staff are friendly and the food is good but there is more quantity than quality.
45 minutes to get food, did not come out hot
Emergence recording on intercom for fire investigation was continuous from 11:45 to 12:45., could not carry on a conversation on our business luncheon.
Although their menu does not have many items (almost none) that are vegetarian or vegan friendly - they were quite happy to accommodate and I had a great lunch there because of it.
Excellent food didn't take too long to arrive, and friendly staff.
I’ve been there twice and the lunch service is extremely slow. The food took forever to come out and we waited 20 min for our server to get us our bill. Not recommended for a quick 1 hour lunch but thankfully our tuna poke was excellent.
I had lunch with my wife for Valentine's Day. The greeting process was very good and very fast. Service personnel was friendly and very attentive. My wife ordered a Caesar salad with prawns which was a little bit spicy for her taste, and I ordered a Cobb salad, which was not exceptional but it was acceptable. What it really shocked us was, that the restaurant was terribly noisy, maybe because it was lunch time, but anyway we had to raise our voices to chat with each other, and to talk to our server.
The food was very good. The drink orders were taken within a few minutes of us arriving. However, it took about 25 minutes after our arrival before the lunch orders were taken. The service could be improved.
Our meal had relatively tight timelines due to meetings booked afterwards which highlighted the fact that fairly basic menu items took over 30 minutes to arrive. Complicating matters was the fact that our server seemed to be handling a huge section of the restaurant and when we were looking to pay our bill was nowhere to be found.
Food quality was OK, but portion sizes seem to have been reduced noticeably since our last visit to the restaurant, with prices not following that trend.
As this was a farewell lunch for a colleague it was disappointing.
Township24 is at a great location & when some Calgary restaurants are closing down, this one seems to have got their game plan right. Awesome service. Don’t miss the Nashville Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese...it’s magical ! I’d like to say a special thanks to Ryan & Holly for calling me to let me know I’d left my iPad behind (it was on the floor by my table).
It was ok. Nothing special. Service slow and restaurant loud.
Disappointing. Enjoyed previous visits but this time I ordered the Brisket. Half of the slice was fat. My friend's portion was pretty well all meat. I didn't want to complain at the beginning of the meal as it was a special occasion get together. I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere at the table. However I told the waitress quietly at the end of the meal. Manager was told but he/she didn't even come by and apologize. One of my other friends confirmed my complaint with the waitress. We have decided not to return again for our next get together. Food was nothing special that we would want to return again. Underwhelmed.
Overall not a bad experience, I just believe that for the price the food would have been better.
Great food and quick service
We were there for a office lunch celebrating year end and Xmas. We were on time for our reservation at 12 but the food did not come until 1.15 and most of us had meetings back in the office at 1.30. We were not going to back for any office lunches as we can't risk having this delay. Manager came and apologize and give us a discount but at the end of the day the expectation is that downtown restaurants have to provide a service faster than that.
Food is decent, service was ok, meal was very slow to arrive.
Slow service, took an hour from when we sat down to when we got our food.
Definitely overpriced......the ingredients in my Cobb salad probably retailed at $3....MAX.......sold for $18.......nothing was priced reasonably on the menu and the iceberg lettuce in my salad was limp and old....not impressed. I asked for ice water.....got flat....no ice......seriously?? They were not busy...no excuse
Very attentive server just the right amount of checking
Food was excellent
Seems like a meeting for downtown business people after work
Have dining room for quieter atmosphere
Waitress didn’t come around as often as we liked but was very nice and helpful
I was disappointed about our order and quality of food served to us. We ordered steak sandwich and my favorite part is crispy onion. It was served with no crispy onion and when i asked the server, she did not noticed that there's no onion on top of our steak and went bak to the kitchen, asked the cook and came back to me and said they ran out!! Thats very disappointing.
Poor service. Poor experience all around. Food was average, at best. Having to pay 18% gratuity for that experience was ridiculous.
Got the cobb salad and while it tasted good there were several bones left in the pulled chicken which to me indicates a lack of attention to detail and caring. Server was pleasant but definitely on the slow side and even with it being Christmas I feel like you can't be that slow when people need to get back to the office.
The food was quite variable. The steak sandwich was very good, the tuna poke was okay, the beef brisket was over-cooked, tough and dried out.
I had the clam chowder and it was very, very good. Just a bit of a bigger bowl would have been ever better.
The service was fantastic and friendly.
Our waitress wasn't the best, preferred chatting to her colleagues than making sure we had drinks.... we got there for just after 3pm, ordered appy's, 2 of which the kitchen had run out of..... Over priced for what it is, both on food and drinks.
Must try in YYC ! We will return! Live music on Wednesday nights was a surprise treat as well!
Overall was very good, service excellent, seemed to be much confusion over what you actually had to offer on dessert menu, server kept coming back saying don’t have it then do have it, ultimately settled on Chocolate marquise, was very awesome, our server Samarra was very attentive
