This food was everything we wanted in a place to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the cheese board, my husband had the salad with crab and loved it, while I had the barbecued rabbit. The rabbit was a touch dry, but had an absolutely phenomenal flavor. Then, we enjoyed the Panna cotta with berries and the chocolate/pecan tart. This place also had a nice selection of wine and beer as well. Service was also outstanding, as we had a reservation for 9:30, walked in at 9:37, and they served us with warmth and patience even still. This is a great choice in New Orleans with excellent food and a really nice ambience.

I really enjoyed my experience at Toups' Meatery! We ordered the boudin balls, fried turkey necks, venison tenderloin, couvillon, and wagyu steak. I recommend everything we tried!!! I am definitely going back to try the meatery board and other dishes!
The food was top notch but the service needs a bit of work. Our wait staff were slow to take orders and forgot a drink order halfway through the meal. It's a bit loud sitting outside next to the road, but overall I was happy with the quality of food for the price.
We were the only diners at 1:30 on a Wednesday. The Meat Board was fabulous! Highly recommend it. When we ordered our meal, the kitchen was prepping pork chops for dinner and we had to wait for them to cook and the grill be cleaned to get a burger. Took about 45 minutes for 1 burger.
As always , team of servers , bar , chef excellent in welcoming us and all and serving beautifully presented food . Ample servings to say the least .

Very interesting menu, and very diverse sets of flavors. I feel there is something for everyone. The cocktail menu is pretty bizarre, but I really enjoyed the few that I got to try. Looking forward to seeing the next menu!
We were visiting New Orleans from California. This place has amazing food, not kidding. Food is exceptional. The service was great. Wish we had this restaurant in Cali.
A true Cajun experience with a twist. As a Cajun from New Iberia, LA, I would highly recommend. Ca C'est Bon!

Everything we had was soooo good starting with my old fashioned. Our waitress suggested I try it with rye and I loved it. We got the meatery board and cheese board and ate every morsel. Then we split the venison and redfish special. We’re absolutely coming back!

Out of town friends really enjoyed the experience. I visit Toups often so I expected a great meal and a great time.
We arrived for our reservation and were met with a very sour host who barely greeted us and was obviously disgruntled and tired. We were seated and our waiter came to the table greasy and sweaty looking. We were so taken aback by the people working in this establishment and the peculiar menu options of various game meats that we left and found somewhere more suitable to eat.
Probably the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. The clab claws were very tasty and a generous serving of decent sized claws.

We were there on a rainy night. The place is loud and I was uncomfortable and wet. It’s clean and has a bar. We had a couple of great appetizers. A bottle of wine and 3 different entrees at our table. The chicken was dry and overcooked but had a bit of a good sauce. The crab salad is really big. And good. The double cut pork chop was the best entree, very good. If you’re a big meat eater, you should try this place. I’ll leave them alone.
Nice outdoor patio. Service was excellent. The lamb neck was unreal - absolutely fall off the bone deliciousness. Also really loved the cornbread. It is an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food when compared to the price!

We had a very great server, everyone was attentive. We received our food quick, and it has a nice vibe. I loved the chicken sandwich and the shrimp fried rice as well. It was a nice experience for brunch!
Absolutely fantastic brunch at Toup’s. It was our first brunch since Covid and it seemed the case for several other tables there too. The atmosphere was fun and festive and the staff was outstanding!

wanted medium we’ll still running blood even after sent back to cook further.
Really disappointed with our meal. Our waiter basically ignored us once we didn’t order when he wanted us to. We ordered apps but weren’t ready to order main courses yet. He never came back, never got second order of drinks. Didn’t get the other apps we ordered. Really disappointing because we really enjoyed our apps. He would also yell across the patio to check in on tables instead of walking up to them. Just not what I expected. Enjoyed the food though!
Off the chart flavors and creative presentations. Excellent sommelier and wait staff. And the dude, Toups, was there and very gracious. Wish he was in Memphis.

Wow. That is the best word to describe my first experience at toups. The food was amazing. I had the wagyu steak and it was hands down the best steak I have ever had. The other food I had was also incredible. The staff was also very friendly and made great recommendations when asked on what to choose.
Customer service very accommodating and cordial. Waiter was very attentive.
The meatboard was interesting. Next time I think I will get the cheeseboard instead. Service was great.

Had the most delicious family brunch. Took our 8 month old daughter and the restaurant had an infant chair. We sat outside and it felt super safe. The service was great. Per usual, the food was outstanding. We always get the Meatery board and several other dishes to share. Everything was perfectly cooked. If you haven’t been to Toups, you need to!
My husband and I had reservations for Easter Sunday. We we arrived, the only table “available” was next to the door where someone dressed up like an Easter bunny was rocking back and forth. Butt, literally eye level with us. When I asked if there was another table, the hostess said no, but then proceeded to sit two people without a reservation outside at a table that apparently was not available two minutes before. We ultimately ended up leaving after we sat for 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement of our presence.
Outstanding food. Crispy turkey necks to die for. All food and service amazing.
