Such a fun little spot. The food is great. The service is wonderful! We never waited long for anything and never had to ask for refills. They were very Attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we had is delicious! I say it’s a much while in New Orleans.
Everything we had was outstanding - the marinated crab claws, turkey necks, field greens salad, lamb neck, and double cut pork chop. When they say "large plates" they are not kidding. Enough food for 2 meals.
Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Excellent!!

Excellent food. Tables widely spaced due to covid, which was nice. The cheese board was delicious with little sweet bites of nuts and jam in addition to the cheese. Service was attentive without hovering. There is outdoor seating available.
The food and service was fantastic. They definitely went above and beyond. Follows CDC guidelines. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and even gave suggestions. They even had specials going on that night. Very pleasant experience!!
Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner
Food is really great but we waited an hour for a burger and a fried chicken sandwich. Our waiter was friendly, but not very attentive. The host/greeter was outright snarky. We have had this experience with the same person both times we have visited. I love Isaac and the food. I just wish the service was better and more hospitable.
The food here is among the best we have had in New Orleans. From the Fois Gras appetizer, served with perfect accompaniments, Rillions to die for, redfish Benedict that I have to have again somehow, someday. Dave, our waiter truly cared. We had to eat outside on a cold day (our own health restrictions) and he bent over backwards to make it all work. Don’t miss this place - it’s near the street car and nice excuse to get out of the French quarter.
We followed Chef Issac from Top Chef. We came in town for wife's birthday. Had to stop in for dinner. The food was awesome. She had the Wagyu steak and I had the Duck Breast. The desserts were great as well. Was nice to meet Chef Issac at dinner.

The food was excellent, and the drinks were pretty good too. The service was however lacking. long periods between check-ins, every glass on the table being empty more than once, and we were unsure who was our actual waiter as several people seemed to be trying to help take care of us; which I think may have been why requests were forgotten.

My gf & I are massive Top Chef fans. We always try to visit the restaurants of our favorite contestants. Isaac Toups was definitely someone we could not wait to try his food. We flew in from Houston for the evening to eat here. The restaurant was awesome. We ordered the meatery board, and stepped out of our comfort zone to try some of the unique items. Every single item was incredible. Our main entrees were Wagyu steak & the gulf seafood couvillion. So much flavor with both. We finished with the strawberry panna cotta which was a perfect end to our experience. Definitely will come back to NOLA to try some more of his items.

Great NOLA spot for locals and savvy tourists. Had an outdoor table on beautiful night. Early reservation as we had our kids with us but staff was great. Chef Toups came out to say “hi” and made our night.

Such a great night. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I strongly suggest ordering the crawfish pie, if it’s available, and the cracklings. So. Damn. Good.

Drinks took 15 minutes, despite being seated in bar. Appetizer forgotten. Music blaring rap. Kitchen slow. Food so, so salty: pickles in drinks, aioli, and homemade potato chips were inedible; hamburger also incredibly salty, but so hungry, ate it. Service mediocre, especially considering only 8 tables total were seated. Filthy a/c return duct filter was completely black and made us wonder when it had last been changed...6 months? Waiter continually touched his face and mask, pulling it up and down repeatedly - never saw him wash his hands ... and he touched our plates. Yuck. We used to love Toup's. It's now mediocre to poor. Will never return.

Toup's is one of my go-to's. I absolutely ADORE being here! Today, I brought my mom for the first time, celebrating her 80th birthday!
We were enthusiastically greeted, with everyone who came in contact with her, wishing her well!

My server was amazing. The food was overrated. The fried rice was too salty to eat. The egg was runny when I asked for well done. The cornbread was amazing. Great ambience and amazing service

Sausage platter appetizer was crazy good with pickled pineapple and onions. My catfish sandwich was light, crispy and came with homemade chips and slaw.
My buddy’s burger was a touch on the rare side (for him) but I hoovered what he didn’t quite finish.

It was awesome! The food was delicious. I felt very safe while dining and the restaurant has done a fantastic effort with serving the community as well.
Best meal of the weekend in NOLA!! We want to get back soon to try other menu items. It was an anniversary celebration lunch and our server spoiled us.
