   Went for dinner w my husband during restaurant week. The food was fantastic, but our waiter Paul stole the show! We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great experience and beautiful view of Hart plaza and the waterfront!

   The food was really excellent our group of 6 were all very pleased with their meals. The drinks were a disappointment for everyone. My one friend ordered Manhattans that weren't very good at $15 each- pretty steep. The rest of us ordered grey goose martinis straight up and everyone of us was disappointed that they all had WAY too much vermouth. Then we were really disappointed when we got the bill that we were charged $17 each for them! I get that its a nice restaurant but $17 for a martini is way too steep especially with a lackluster bartender. This isn't Vegas or LA we're in Detroit let's remember that. Truthfully despite great ambience and great food , poor drinks that are greatly overpriced would affect my decision to return.

   Food was absolutely awful. Soup came out cold and had to be sent back. Entree was below average. Service was okay at best. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. In a time when Detroit food is thriving, this place was a complete and utter letdown.

   What an amazing place. The view was spectacular! The food was out of this world. Loved the Lobster bisque soup and the pork roulade was so delicious. Can't wait to go back and highly recommend.

   This is my second visit to Top of the Pontch for Detroit Restaurant Week. I think the chefs here are very good at coming up with unique choices with interesting ingredient combinations.

   This was my first trip to Top of the Pontch but not my last. The views of the waterfront were spectacular and the food was worth the wait as every entree was perfection!

   Filet was delicious, other 3 meals MAYBE satisfactory. Sun blinding on the west side of the room. Asked to move, only 3 other tables filled , was told no their booked. However they moved another table to where we wanted to sit..... after we asked. We're loyal patrons of the Detroit restaurant scene but we won't be returning here.

   The food was very good. However, the bar was out of cocktail mixer for the drink my wife ordered - so they replaced with a glass of wine - poured first before offering her an opportunity to select a different cocktail. The system did not place my entrée order - so my wife's meal came out first. Then mine came out 10 minutes later. Abut 20 minutes later my vegetable was delivered. They comped the main course - but not the vegetables. Very awkward dining experience. Free dessert was offered - but after having the meal come in stages, we were just ready to leave.

    This restaurant experience was BRUTAL. We went to Top of the Pontch after we went to the Auto show. My fiancé and I dressed up and were ready for a special evening together. Instead, our waiter was drunk, we watched him finish wine glasses that we left on tables from other unhappy customers and walk around the room in a stupor. We waited for 20 minutes to even get a glass of water. We had to BEG a busboy to go get our check after we saw our waiter yet again drinking a half finished glass of wine and he kept "forgetting" to get our check. The food was fine, the view is amazing. It really is a shame, the service we got that night makes me never want to go back. This place should have no problem being full on a Saturday night, instead it was empty and we watched people walk out.
