    Very nice ambiance. Loved the live music and the sliding doors that let the cool ocean breeze flow through the restaurant. Our server was very prompt and thoughtful. My only regret is that I will never financially recover from my meal…..

    One of our "go-to" restaurants when we're on the Big Island. Normally a 5-star rating, but only 4 this time. When we arrived we - and everyone else - was greeted with the ear-piercing sound of a fire alarm... not the restaurant's fault. When it finally got turned off we enjoyed a typically good meal, although the noise interruption seemed to have frazzled the kitchen somewhat.

    Unfortunately the fire alarm went off right when our meal arrived because someone open the wrong door. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and had to take our food to go because they couldn’t don’t get the alarm off.

    We ordered the macadamia nut crusted fish of the day which was mahi and we have had this at Tommy Bahama and many other places and the fish was absolutely tasteless and it was $48 just for the entrée. It came with grilled asparagus, which was also really bad and the best part of the entrée was the almond rice pilaf. We come here regularly and we will not be returning to Tommy Bahama. The food was not made with care

    The food was great as always. Unfortunately they seemed to be very understaffed and the service is mediocre. Our wine glasses had spots and lip smudge, we asked for bread and never received it, we put out our wine glasses for a refill and the waiter didn't show up until we were done with our meal. We even talked to the manager about this and he pushed the blame off on impatient customers and staff calling out. I hope they can get back to the place they used to be with great service and food.
