   We went for our Mother's Day Brunch at noon. We made our reservation about 6 weeks in advance since there were 9 in our party. Our server was excellent (Thomas) and the food was delicious. The only criticism I would have is that they placed our table outside on the lanai and there was a progressively large area that was open to the blazing sun which made it quite uncomfortable due to the heat and blinding light. It will definitely be a consideration to make sure our reservation is inside, in the future, during the day. Overall, it is a great restaurant and I highly recommend it.

   Tommy Bahamas is a great staple. Food is consistent and service very good. Their coconut crusted shrimp and macadamian crusted fish is really delicious. And they have great Mai Tais. For Hawaii it is more reasonably priced for consistent great food. We go every year at least 2x when we visit the Big Island.

   Another lovely evening at one of our favorite Big Island restaurants. The coconut shrimp, lobster egg rolls and green salad were all delicious. Our server was very attentive, and timed the servings perfectly so we could enjoy a leisurely, and relaxing meal.

   Always a favorite when we visit Kona. Goat cheese appetizer was great. Crab and avocado salad is always so good and full of lump crabmeat and the pork chops were perfect. Sometimes the noise level is annoying.

   Our reservation was at 6:30pm. MaWe arrived 30 minutes early and were promptly seated outside facing west. The sunset was amazing! Our waiter was excellent! Even though he was very busy, he took time to make conversation and give pleasant advice! The food was served on time and was prepared excellently! The atmosphere was crowded but we could converse without having to raise our voices. The price was very reasonable compared to other places we’ve been to in Hawaii. All in all, I highly recommend Tommy Bahama Restaurant!

   We’ve eaten here several times in the past and have always had a great experience. However this most recent experience was subpar. Both dinners (8oz filet and macadamia crusted ono) were over cooked and dry. Both dinners were also extremely salty. In addition the waiter was MIA for most of the meal service. Not a good experience for this restaurant!

   We eat regularly at Tommy Bahama. It is consistently good. Our server this past week was Bailey. She provided excellent service. We look forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for good food, great service and fun atmosphere!
