We had a wonderful experience at Toma. Our family was in SB for a wedding and this was a fabulous start to our week. Excellent service, delicious food and drinks. Can’t wait to visit again.

Excellent in all respects. Haven’t noticed changes since ownership changed - it’s stayed consistent. Small suggestion: the bread isn’t as good as it had been for years.

Toma hit above expectations. The restaurant is small and cozy. We started with the sourdough and the burrata tomato salad which was delicious. The rigatoni and the gnocchi pastas were out of this world! Rounding out the meal were lovely desserts, the strawberries in pistachio phyllo and the chocolate torte. An excellent meal to complete our visit to Santa Barbara.

Food was all delicious. Some people might find it a little under salted, but you can always add salt. Server knew the menu cold, was easy going and confident. We got upsold on the wine but didn't mind because it turned out to be as good as promised. Prices are slightly lower than other similar upscale restaurants. Highly recommended.

Tomas is always on our list when we visit Santa Barbara. Consistently great service, food and a great location. Unfortunately inflation has made the restaurant more expensive

Second time here and just as amazing. Had friends with us this time and they loved everything about their meal. Heirloom tomato and burrata salad was amazing. Loved the lasagna and dessert was wonderful.

The main course was very unimpressive- the seafood pasta has 2 shrimp 2 frozen scallops & 4 tiny mussels. Pasta itself was not good. That being said the desert and the bursts started were divine.

Delicious! Perfect! Every detail was just right from the crispy home made sourdough bread to the fresh farmers market arugula salad with pine nuts to the Crispy Salmon which i chose to have without the pork and without the skin on the salmon. They made it JUST the say I asked! Perfect and delicious. My partners ravioli was also great. Just the right amount of ricotta filling and yummy tomato sauce. We also gobbled down the warm chocolaté torte for dessert. Just the perfect consistency for a gooey warm center. I would definitely eat here again!

The food was outstanding, from the tuna cones appetizer (a favorite!) to the entree of outstanding lamb chops on palenta and delicious pesto pasta with firm nice size shrimps. Drinks were good, service overall was good, but it took sometime to even get water to the table....a restaurant of this level should be more attentive when diners are seated. But all in all, it's one of our favorite restaurants when we visit from Los Angeles, a couple of times a year.
