First time dining here. Amazing view of harbor & city. Excellent service! Short ribs, salmon delicious. Scallops ok. We will absolutely be back!

Tom Hams is a great all around restaurant. Parking is plentiful & free. The view is amazing. Our server Ricardo was so attentive. He was asking us about what we needed before we could even ask him. And most importantly - the food is reasonably priced and delicious. We started with appetizers - calamari, Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. All were yummy. And our entrees were great too. I had the paella (they subbed out the mussels which I appreciated). The other ladies were happy with their selections too (yellow fin, raw bar & scallops). Just a great night!!!!

We showed up 30 minutes late and with an extra person in our party. The reception never once acted anything but happy to see us and made accommodating our extra guest simple. Service, food and view were great.

My husband and I had Resurrection Sunday brunch here. The food is outstanding but hoped the ambiance would've matched. You would think at $85 pp there would be some care spent on flowers, thoughtfulness to food presentation and the environment. If it wasn't for the servers and food quality, this place would def be overrated. It was our first time visiting and had hoped for a stellar dining experience all around. It was a bit of a surprise that this place didn't deliver on all fronts. The front desk/lobby staff were completely stressed out and not welcoming at all. I think management is relying on the location and food to simply pay off.

Another amazing experience ! Staff is amazing and very attentive. Food is high quality and plenty of choices from lobster to a custom pasta station. This is a must for any out of towners that visit SD…The view is breath taking…this is why we live in beautiful San Diego
