I booked a table for my parents to celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary as they were visiting Vancouver from overseas. They had a wonderful meal and the staff took excellent care of them. Thank you so much to all the team at Tojos for giving them such a special evening!

We booked a special anniversary dinner at Tojo's to celebrate our 31st. We had decided beforehand that we would try the seasonal omakase. Service was really outstanding, lot's of timely attention without loitering which we appreciate. Atmosphere was excellent. We can confirm Tojo's is a hotspot for celebrity sightings (think X-Files) which was kind of fun. We really liked the food but were a bit disappointed in perhaps a run-of-the-mill dish selection. Food was excellently prepared and beautifully presented but other than the dessert course we have had basically everything there before. I guess we had hoped for a more adventurous selection but perhaps we chose the wrong omakase selection to get those dishes. It was a pricey evening, as we had expected, so we left a tiny bit disappointed in the food experience.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed Tojo's tuna, the scallion-broccoli temaki, spot prawn tempura, and Tojo Maki. The service was outstanding. We always feel like honored guests.
