This restaurant never disappoints! Great wine list. Excellent service. Amazing food!
On a Monday night the bar was full but not too many in the dining room. Quite a variety of food options. All that we had were very good. Drinks larger than expected. I would definitely return.
My pumpkin crab soup was delicious. The brussel sprouts also were great. Overall our Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding.
Todd Jurich's Bistro has always been a favorite. The staff was great in a difficult time when help is hard to find. Todd himself was helping deliver food to the dining room.
The food as great as usual (I always start with the Oyster Stew). The value was great, especially for the house wines. Take advantage of the Valet Parking, a good value for Downtown Norfolk. Afterward view the Wisconsin, illuminated for the Christmas season.
We had the crispy skin rockfish special. The presentation was very attractive and the fish was quite tasty. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were delicious and the asparagus was tender despite being pretty large.
We got there at five… Apparently so did everyone else and therefore we waited forever for our food and when it was served one entree was cold… There was a loud group right next to us which was not the restaurants fault …but overall paying $100 for cold crabcakes and rabbit soup in a loud environment was very disappointing
The food, atmosphere and service was excellent! This has become a very favorite place for my wife and I to enjoy an evening dinner out!!!
Good choices on menu and good food. Very good service.
Food was excellent. We had the fillet and shared some truffle fries with it. All were excellent. Had the lumpia and pierogie appetizers, which were both excellent.
The service was a bit slow, which surprised us since the restaurant was nearly empty.
It was an exceptional and very satisfying experience. The service was outstanding and attention to detail exceptional.
Went on a Friday evening with my husband, bar area was packed but plenty of dining tables open. Waitress was friendly and gave us good service. My husband got the special which was grilled octopus and I got the beet salad and lumpia. Everything was good very good and flavorful. Would recommend and will come back next time we’re in Norfolk.
Great in all important aspects - food, service and atmosphere! Excellent wine list, as well. Perfect date night!
Food was great, with the exception of the polenta that came with my filet mignon; very dry and a little tasteless, and the host at the front could use some personality, I have been better received by the night clerks at hotels than this gentleman. It was a Saturday night and the bar noise spilled over into the dining area quite a lot. BUT, the food in general was very good, my steak was cooked just right at med rare, everyone said their food was very good without exception, and the ambiance was very good. The Creme Brulee and Pumpkin Crab Soup were both excellent. We all agreed that along with the food, the best part of our dining experience was our waitress, Saleema; very bright, responsive, timely, always there when you needed her, but not overbearing, and a very pleasant personality. We'll go back.
I would strongly recommend this place. Beautiful dining, great service, and amazing food. And our waitress was outstanding!
Jurich's Bistro never disappoints! The service, food and atmosphere are 11 out of 10!
Absolutely delicious ! Salmon and pork and bread pudding were beyond compare ! Wait staff perfect ! Thank you so much !
Excellent service and wonderful food. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere. Service is exceptional and food is amazing.
Beautiful menu, excellent food, very friendly and professional service. Great atmosphere and perfect overall experience!
Had not been to Todd Jurich’s in a long time. Glad we came back. Food was amazing, service was impeccable, and our experience with our friends was great. We’ll see you again shortly….
Fantastic! Everything we had was delicious. The duck was to die for.
Ribeye did not taste like a ribeye and tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill, the halibut special was overcooked and they brought the wrong side, risotto was bland and the scallops were over cooked. For a $280 meal, it was very disappointing.
We dined twice within less than 2 weeks and it was simply wonderful. The second visit we enjoyed Happy Hour at the bar before our reservation time, and that was terrific as well (and less of a crowd maybe in part due to the rain! But not complaining, as we scored a table for 4 at the bar!). This restaurant prides itself on a great menu with amazing food, daily specials, and other special events. We'll be back. We had the same sever both times and she was amazing as well, going out of her way for us. Definitely a lovely dining experience!
Warm and welcoming! Knowledgeable server!
Everything was excellent! Steaks, scallops, shrimp, salmon, creme brûlée all done to perfection. Definitely a five star meal. They brought simple syrup to the table to sweeten your tea! I can’t recommend this place enough.
The appetizers didn't really do it for us but the entrees and dessert were very good..cheese tray was missing pimento cheese and the calamari was rubbery and the breading was falling off.. the crispy dick cherry was delicious and my wife's blackened Tuna was excellent..the key lime pie was delicious and tart
First time diners and it was a great experience. We were ending up a few days on our boat and decided to celebrate the end of our cruise. We'll definitely be back!
Food was delicious, well presented and each dish had a unique twist. Wine selection was not what we have come to expect of a restaurant of this caliber. Service was attentive without being overbearing or pushy. Overall, a good experience
Food, service, ambiance were impeccable as always!
Perfect as always
It has been a while since we visited this restaurant. Food & service were as good as we remembered. The remodeling of the dining room was disappointing. All ambience was lost and the wall created to make function space looked like a construction site and the dining room felt like a closet.
Great food. Server was new and seemed to still be learning but overall was a great experience.
Saleema was a fabulous server. She was attentive and charismatic but not overbearing. Our food was delicious. I had the special Halibut which was fabulous. We all shared the bread basket and Pittsburgh Pierogies which were also outstanding. This was our second time dining here and it has been consistently impressive both times.
Great food, AMAZING service. Could not have been better!!!
Did an early dinner on a Saturday night and my son ordered a Capt Morgan and coke. He ordered a second and was told, nonchalantly, that they were.out of Capt Morgan. The waiter also said one of the Saturday specials only had one left. I could understand if it were the end of the evening, but running out of stuff that early was frustrating.
Delicious inventive dishes. Warm, knowledgeable foodie servers. Atmosphere fancy, but not stuffy.
We got together with friends for dinner and to catch up post COVID. What a treat! Service was great, thanks John. Drinks were perfect and our appetizers and dinner were all wonderful . We shared oysters, calamari and foie gras starters. We each enjoyed our entrees scallops, blue fin ettoufee, pork chop and filet mignon. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. We finished with a delicious strawberry trifle. Atmosphere was relaxing enough to allow for great conversation. Truly a great experience at Todd Jurich’s Bistro can’t wait to return
The food lived up to Todd's reputation for excellence. The service was attentive and thoughtful without being intrusive. The wine list was impressive and relatively reasonably priced.
Food was slightly above average. Service was terrible. We ordered the bread basket. It came with hard, ice cold butter and we had to ask for bread plates. I ordered an old fashioned. It was $15 and was watered down and pretty bad. Our server brought us containers so we could box up our leftovers. This is not normally a problem. But for a $200 meal for 3 people, I expected much better service. 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, the $6 bread basket, and 3 entrees was $200. For the quality of the food and the service, it should have been about half that.
Exquisite dinner oysters, halibut, etc. superior service
