Good wine and great Italian food. Believe them when they say they cook with garlic ‼️
The ravioli is to die for!
Tino's is always good! They have the best pizza around and other excellent options too. The spinach salad with blackened salmon is my favorite when I'm not up for pizza. You should go! I did not give 5 stars for service because every once in a while, they are a little off - too busy to give the best service. However, it doesn't keep us away.
Pasta was stuck together. Could not twirl it on a fork had to cut it with a knife. Tomato sauce was watery. Bread was served as though it was cut with a butter knife and not a serrated blade.
Once is enough for me.
Food and service was excellent. We really enjoy this restaurant for good Italian food.
One of the best Italian restaurants I've been. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive without being annoying. Definitely a gem of a place
I am a big fan of Tino's. The food is great. The staff is always friendly and Lance the owner is terrific! Most nights you need a reservation, so plan ahead. The portions are large and they give you nice take home containers. They also deliver.
Great food! We always have a great meal here! It's easy to find meals that fit everyone's tastes.
Rose sauce amazing as always. Salads were excellent. Service was great.
Perfectly fine American Italian food. Friendly if harried service. Very loud and a lot going on seems to be a favorite of families with kids.
We will be back, Michael our waiter was amazing considering how busy it was!
We always love Tino's! The food and service are always outstanding and we will definitely be back soon!
We had a wonderful evening. Our waitress, Katie, was very friendly, personable, pleasant and attentive. Did not hoover over us, gave us time between appetizer and meal. Food was fantastic. Looking forward to coming again soon.
This is are go to for an amazing Italian meal. Great staff and wine selections. Tight waiting area. Reservations are a must or wait can get long. Worth it!
As always Tino’s is always wonderful! We always look forward to our date nights with you!
Large selection of gluten free options and all the meals were bountiful and delicious. Waitress was so friendly, it was a pleasure.
Love the risotto with shrimp and asparagus
Food was delicious and portions were generous. Friendly staff. Definitely will go back.
Fast seating, quick service an attentive server who checked in just the right amount of times.
We frequent Tino's often. Our waiter, Mike, was exceptional. He was charming, attentive but not intrusive. A real pro. And the food is always great. Highly recommend.
This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant and like before, everything from the Beet Salad...to the Limoncello martini...to the "make your own " pasta dish was delicious. The superior service provided by the waiter was also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, when the manager felt the need to inform us that "they had a lot of reservations and we had been at our table longer than any other patrons" it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. She included "if, we chose to order dessert, she would not charge us" and was told "no rush but to finish our drinks while we thought about it because they needed the table in 15 minutes". Our reservation for a party of 2 was for 5p and we were approached at 630p by the manager. She also said that our table was reserved for someone else at that time! We ordered apps, salad, drinks from the bar, and were still eating our main course when we were approached. This was the 1st time I've EVER been asked to rush my meal and leave a restaurant because THEY overbooked for that evening...and since I'm a foodie and frequently visit the best restaurants in New York, Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, I hope it will be the last. I will definitely tell friends, family, and my colleagues that apparently the $150 I was spending at Tino's that evening was not enough to be treated as a valued patron. I've received kinder treatment at larger establishments like Maggianos or Carmines. And again, the waiter was wonderful- he apologized multiple times for the level of disrespect shown by his manager.
Its such a neighborhood gem! The owner is always there to check that everything is runing smooth and welcoming us. Food was delicious!! Can't wait to go back1
Okay, to be honest, we have dined here many times and this is the first time we have been disappointed. There were 4 in our party at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. We had made reservations and, in spite of a long waiting line, we were seated immediately at our reserved time. Our server was cordial, however, when I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and requested grilled chicken instead of fried, she said that they couldn't do that (really?). I agreed to the fried chicken parm and, when I got my entree, it was only fair ( and a good bit less healthy!). Without going into details, 3 of the 4 meals served to us were "just okay". The 4th was "excellent", which is what we have come to expect from Tino's. The service was good as was the ambiance. After this experience, however, we are kind of "Tino'd out" for a while. We will be back and we still recommend the restaurant based on past experience. Everyone is entitled to an off night now and then.
Love Tino's can't wait to go back! Great good and service, who can ask for more.
Excellent food. Cooked fresh and delivered hot. Will definitely return.
Tino's is about the best authentic Italian restaurant in Ellicott City. The pasta is always fresh and i have never gotten a bad meal there. Keep up the great food and service!
Great gluten free options, many entrees to choose from. Everyone liked their entrees. Wish salad was included in entree price.
Did not find a category simply for "great food" as to why I'd recommend this restaurant for, but that is the category I'd pick, though I did rate the food as outstanding in the beginning of the survey.
Outstanding food! Our server was very personable, professional and efficient. Excellent NY style pizza as well as many other menu items. Great Italian food. A local gem.
We enjoyed another meal here with good service and good food. It is generally very reliable with very good and friendly service. On a cold night the restaurant was cozy. The bread was warm, and they offered seconds had we wanted it. I had the Sicilian salad (garden salad with salami/cheese/shrimp) and the mussels which are listed as an appetizer. However, with a salad and some bread the mussels were perfect for dinner. In fact, someone at the next table did the same thing. My husband loved the spaghetti and meatballs, a generous portion so some came home. We were full and didn't have dessert. The selection of wines by the glass is nice for a small place.
Been looking forward to dining here based on 4+ stars on most reviews. So, flavor good. Both of us had a shrimp seafood dish. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. However the angel hair pasta was so beyond al dente, it was mushy. An Italian restaurant should do better. And the shrimp fra diavalo was tasty, but 'heat'-less.
We have eaten here or carried out numerous times. The food and service are as good as at any Little Italy restaurant with similar menus.
The food was absolutely amazing and our server was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Always good food. Nice spot for friends to gather. Flexible for special diet requirements.
Good food. Slow service - but friendly.
It was ok .. Nothing really special but did enjoy wine and insalata special .. Very close quarters and hard to have private conversation
The appetizer was delicious, the main course tasty, and the dessert supurb. It was busy for lunch so the noise level was moderate. Highly recommended for everyday dining.
Another enjoyable experience at my favorite restaurant in Columbia.
Celebrated two family birthdays. Katie F. provided great service and we remembered her service from the prior year's birthday visit. We were seated on time with our reservation. The bread and olive oil were good. Orders across the Italian spectrum were all enjoyable. Will likely visit again but hopefully it won't take a year to go back.
