We had a lovely brunch and made sure to get their famous Dutch babies!
The combination of the wonderful cuisine, the warm and comfortable ambience, and the first-class professional service make Tilikum Place one of Seattle's true culinary gems. Whether a local or a visitor, you will be very glad you dined there.
The food and service were - as always - excellent. The dal soup was particularly inspired.
Great experience as usual.
The restaurant has a cosy, neighborhood feel. Main course portions were very generous. Had we ordered starters, we wouldn't have been able to finish our main courses. Wine list is small but carefully selected, and our waitperson gave helpful suggestions. Excellent unobtrusive service, and helpful all around. I look forward to going back.
We have been dining at Tilikum since 2010 and it is still my favorite restaurant. The staff is always welcoming and attentive without being too much. The food is amazing. The menu is created based on local, available ingredients. Even the desert is made in-house. I love to take family and friends that I want to impress to Tilikum.
Smooth service, arrived a tad late to parking but even with a 20 min delay they were very understanding and able to still accommodate. I made the reservation and I believe they only have 7 revolving tables so when I say it was quiet it was just the kitchen movements and calm morning in Seattle. COVID has made the city much quieter too so enjoying our brunch was peaceful and delicious. Our server was timely, polite and respectfully checked up on us twice. When you order coffee btw you get a choice of French press and I LOVE this- you get a whole pot and I drink coffee like a fish (bad but so good haha) so I highly recommend along side the crumpets!! I wish I could have 20, it comes with 3 but they’re a treat and worth it! Although the menu isn’t extensive- believe me you’ll have well made food that will have you full. Don’t let those Dutch babies fool you, they’re smallish but VERY satisfying. I shared a Breakfast Plate with my partner and I’m open to say a thoroughly enjoyed breakfast for 2 was about $60 not including tip. PLEASE TIP THESE FOLKS, they’re a great staff and awesome cafe. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve made at least a dozen stops. Wish I had pics of food but it was ALL gone! Plates totally clean. I have hard time believe anyone would be disappointed here, definitely give this place a chance :)
We go to Tilikum whenever we are in town. It has never disappointed us. The menu is interesting and the food well prepared. Our waiter was professional and really accommodating. A great neighborhood find.
Cozy, delicious, and always special-- even during the pandemic.
ALWAYS a 5-star experience at Tilikum Place Cafe!
Everything tasted great. We had a nice view of the space needle from our seat. Staff was attentive and polite. All a round very nice.
Simply my favorite restaurant in the city. Food is always wonderful, the room is comfortable and charming, and the staff are simply the best.
This is one of our favorite restaurants, and easily one of the best in Seattle. We love the menu and the exceptional hospitality.
We just love this place - it never ever disappoints and we couldn’t be happier it’s surviving this pandemic. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go!
This was our first time and we are already planning our next visit! The service was excellent. We decided on the soup dumplings and BBQ pork buns. The server suggested the garlic crispy chicken which was amazing!
Cozy, friendly & delicious is all things that describe this place. One of my neighborhood favorites and so excited to see them opened back up for a few days a week. Great wine, try the sage butter noodles, chicken & had an amazing desert. Brunch is always great as well. Fresh squeezed oj & coffee with a mimosa is my suggestion to start along with the eggs Benedict. Enjoy & get fat!
This spot never disappoints! They have had to greatly reduce the number of tables due to Covid lock down restrictions, but it looks like they are also doing a brisk take out business also. My husband and I felt very safe eating in the restaurant as the tables are very well distanced and the staff was all wearing masks.
Simply my favorite place in town. Feel at home and always have a wonderful meal and service.
Food was great and service was friendly and top notch!
Great food! Be sure to try the Dutch baby!
Exceptional Savory Dutch Baby win for Brunch!!! Perfectly blended sage browned in pork belly goodness + sweet blackberries wrapped in a custard egg blanket. Billowy edges were browned to perfection in a personal cast iron skillet. Every bite was divine! I would have kissed the chef if not for my mask. Service was expertly attentive and cheerful. Very clean and socially distant dining experience. Can’t rave enough about what a gem Tilikum Place Cafe is!
Very quaint and nice restaurant. Great food. Waiter Chris was very personable and efficient great service. We had one Dutch Baby with the blueberries and we had the quiche. Would order both again and would definitely like to try the baked eggs sometime soon.
Love this place and so happy they’re open again. They’re doing a great job keeping everyone safe!
One of my favorite little gems in Seattle. Menu is always changing to what’s in season and interesting tasty dishes. Love this place and the wait staff is lovely. Mima will make you laugh!
great food and great service under the covid rules. our server was fantastic and accommodating. Love this place fro brunch
The food is always delicious. You can’t go wrong with brunch here. Get the dutch baby as a dessert to share.
I went with a friend for brunch. They were accepting only few tables with reservations and practicing safety precautions. We ordered baked egg, Dutch baby sweet, and side of potato and bread. Service was amazing!
Amazing food and service!
Our waitress was excellent. We talked about song selection. She was very attentive. I absolutely love the dutch babies.
This is a neighborhood special treat. Always nice service, great food. Easy to park in the area.
Despite the limited seating and limited menu in our Phase 2 environment , the staff combined to make a pleasant Friday night date night experience . Thank you for a great meal.
This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle and never disappoints. Food and drink are great and staff are wonderful.
This restaurant is a Seattle treasure. Solid food that’s inventive and interesting. Great variety. Good wine selection and excellent cocktails.
Incredible service and good - will definitely be back!
Great service and very delicious food. Nice bistro ambience and not overly expensive. Well located on a quiet side street yet close to all downtown attractions.
Menu was not extremely extensive, but the good was top-notch quality. Service outstanding, nice atmosphere. First time we ate there - there will likely be many future times.
We had a lovely time celebrating a birthday over brunch. The food was so scrumptious and we enjoyed the casual yet charming atmosphere. It’s such a pleasure to be in a space not over designed. The savory Dutch baby was a hit and the plate with roasted tomatoes, beans, bread, bacon, and eggs waste super tasty too. We can’t wait to try lunch or dinner here too!
If the first reservation is at 11:00, it might be appropriate to open your doors 10 minutes early or have your first reservation at 11:15. The bread for the daily sandwich is good but so tough it’s not really sensible to eat as a sandwich. And the chicken salad sandwich was more of an Apple salad sandwich in my opinion. The pastrami hash was delightful and beautiful! And the mushroom soup was amazing with the clove in there, loved it!
Great food, friendly service! I’ll definitely be back!
I love this spot. Our server, Matthew, was outstanding. He was attentive And his descriptions of the dishes were outstanding. The food is amazing and I can’t say enough positive things. Come here it’s the best
