   We dined at the “Tidepools” at the recommendation of 2 friends that had a wonderful experience, they also recommended that we request Juan as our server. We throughly enjoyed the beautiful ambiance, the food was delicious, but the best part of it all was the service. Juan greeted us with such kindness and warmth, as if we were regulars. He is definitely an asset to the Grand Hyatt Resort. Juan truly made our dinning experience a magnificent one. I highly recommend the Tidepools, and do request Juan as your server for a wonderful evening in Kauai.

   If you have to pick, pick Tidepools!!! Beautiful inside and out. Had the Hawaiian catch which was recommended by our waiter Rob!! So so ono(delicious). Best Birthday ever!!!!

   Tidepools food is always great. We love also the view and the koi fish that swim around the restaurant. Always a nice experience and can’t wait to return again.

   Great food. Prices high everywhere so is what it is in 2025. Great meal if staying at Grand Hyatt

   The meal was phenomenal & service w/les & Josh was impeccable. We were promptly seated @ 5pm @ a coveted corner table with the koi pond on 2 sides where we entranced w:the beautiful fish. Les suggested a delicious appetizer: ahi creatively served w/wonton chips. My husband indulged in the ono whereas I had the “fresh catch” which included a “Hawaiian swordfish”, lobster tail, scallop & shrimp, all perfectly cooked. The macadamia crème burlee topped off a most wonderful meal. Our 2nd time celebrating our anniversary @Tidepools, we we’re once again, thoroughly impressed with the service, food & ambience. A favorite restaurant of ours world-wide.

   Fabulous meal - our server Juan was outstanding. Get the Hawaiian fish! Included fish, shrimp, lobster, scallop and so delicious.

   Absolutely recommend this restaurant! The seafood was phenomenal. Location on the little "tide pools" is a really cool setting for the restaurant. Lobster bisque was delicious, the crab cakes were full of crab. The Opah was cooked to perfection, and the tagliatelle was incredible. Would absolutely go back in a heartbeat.

    Delightfully flavored entrees and delicious desserts. It's an experience to eat there with the koi ponds, got a table near the water. Service was great, a very memorable meal. Our 2nd visit to Tidepools after 10 years. Make sure to book early as reservations do fill up!
