Tiburon Fine Dining has quietly become one of Utah's premier restaurants. Tiburon is located in the south end of the Salt Lake valley in an unassuming building that formerly housed a fruit stand. But don't be fooled, Tiburon serves award-winning contemporary American cuisine ranging from pan-seared Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras and Madiera syrup to Black Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna with Honey and Soy Marinated Carrots. The Crab Cakes consistently win best in the state and the salads are raved about by the locals. But it does not end with the food, service is always top-notch. Led by a staff that has been with owners since its opening in 1999, guests always feel welcomed in the warm and friendly atmosphere. And in the Summer with it's patio dining. Tiburon is the place to dine in the South Valley.

    Sometimes things just come together to provide a memorable surprise in life. Last night at Tiburon was one. We rarely have a reason to go to that part of the valley and we don’t know much about the dining options. We chose Tiburon because of its proximity to the Amphitheater. Now we will find reasons to go down there just so we can dine at Tiburon. The salads were tasty and well presented. As entrees two of us had filet mignon, one had roasted chicken, and one had crab cakes. My filet was perfectly medium rare and didn’t have a single bite of tough or dry meat. It was large and reasonably priced. I’ve had more expensive steaks in the valley that were way below the quality of this one. The other 3 really enjoyed their meals too. Three of us really like polenta and they let us substitute it in place of the normal side. The ambiance was very pleasant and tables were comfortable and nicely separated. Our server was excellent.

    My wife and I had a truly memorable time celebrating our anniversary at Tiburon. I had the New Zealand Elk, which was incredibly tender and had a rich flavor. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Beef Tenderloin, which was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and practically melted in her mouth. Even the salad, with its fresh greens and flavorful vinaigrette, was surprisingly delicious. The service was also outstanding; our server was attentive and made excellent recommendations.

    The food was excellent. I were steaks we're cut to perfection! Our waiter RYAN, he was awesome. We really enjoyed having him has service our server. He was very personable, and friendly, he recommended things for us. He was very mindful of our food allergies. ( :

    Nothing but the top notch service we’ve come to expect from Tiburon. In addition, I had a wonderful chicken breast entrée which was possibly the best chicken I’ve ever had. Everyone in my party had an amazing meal, drinks, and dessert. We will definitely be back.

    They brought back the Tenderloin with Foie gras…. OMG!! This is our favorite which we hadn’t had since just around the COVID scare era and now they have found a new reliable source, making it available every Friday and Saturday, if not sold out. This continues to be our favorite place to celebrate those special occasions. It was our 27th anniversary, which they did special treats for us. Thank you Tiburon!

    We brought our staff here for dinner to celebrate making it through the Tax Season. What a stress free experience starting with getting reservations and making changes to our reservation. They were so easy and accommodating to work with. The food was amazing and our server Ryan and the rest of the staff was some of the best we have had. Thank you for a great evening!

    Overall, a good experience. Delicious food fairly priced, with a reasonable selection of wines and cocktails. Menu is fairly small with limited salad options. Service is friendly and professional.

    We'll definitely go back there again when we celebrate something special. You can tell that the people working there are happy by the way they smile and treat you! And the food was great too!
