Thyme 2 Ratings and Reviews
Outstanding fine dining! Fabulous food, great service with an eclectic ambiance. The coconut shrimp appetizer was light and tasty. The salad with Motserella cheese was plenty for two and the macadamia grouper was delicious. Corrin our waitress was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant and reservations will be needed.
We've been to Thyme 2 several times and have eaten off both the fine dining and pub menus. The food is simply amazing and the chef does a outstanding job with it. The fine dining menu changes, and we are always so excited to try something new. The pub is great for grabbing lunch and we love the atmosphere throughout. Medina has a lot of very good restaurant, but Thyme 2 is the top place in my book for food.
We had out of town guests for the second year in a row and they requested we return to Thyme 2. We have frequented it through the year as our go to restaurant. Always consistently great food, impeccable service, and great choices. this particular visit, we had the opportunity to meet the chef, John Kolar, and extend our accolades for the great dining experience.
This is the 3rd time visiting the restaurant because the first 2 dinners there were amazing along with the service.
I was disappointed in the meal this time. I ordered grouper and the fish was so tough and dry. So unfortunately I had to send it back. The server was real courteous and offered to warm up my dates meal while we waited for another entree and she also bought us a drink and desert to split.
I would give it another try because our first 2 times were so good.
This was our second visit. We came back because we really enjoyed our first visit. The menu changed slightly from the first time but I like that. This tells me the chief stays in touch with the seasons and fresh availble ingredients. I really like the portions in relation to the price. It was enough to fill me but this is not the place to go if you want to make a pig of yourself. I also like a smaller menu as you know each dish can be well prepared. I especially liked the sauces. My wife and I will return. Soon.
I say to all you chain resturant people. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSSINESSES!!! Especially Thyme 2
Had another delicious meal at Thyme 2. They just rolled out the summer menu. The melon salid was very good. Also got the shrimp chopinno which had nice flavor.
I do wish Thyme would add a few more items - especially vegetarian - the dinning room menu is a little small but everything is executed well.
We love Corrine's service
Food and service was very good. Biggest complaint was that we had 800 reservations for patio seating and waited about a half hour for a table while another couple before us had no outside reservations and were seated before us because they preferred to be out there. What was the point of having a reservation? We r regulars at Thyme and have recommended it to a lot of friends. It was a bit of a disappointment
Fantastic experience. The food was as good as any restaurant I've been to in the area. I had the veal chop with morel risotto which was a special that evening. My wife had the swordfish special which was also very very good. Our server was outstanding from start to finish. We will definitely be back!
Out w/my bride celebrating 36 years together but wanted a casual spot. Sat in the patio had 2 great cocktails, ordered the Corn Chowder(WOW!), my bride had the mushroom burger w/fresh cut fries & pickle & I had the pulled pork sandwich w/the same! Food was piping hot, fresh and delicious! What a great spot in Medina!!
A charming restaurant with front porch seating, an indoor dining room and a downstairs lunch area. I had a nut-crusted chicken salad with avocado, mandarin oranges, cranberries, Gorgonzola and mixed greens that was very fresh, ample and delicious. I also had the soup of the day, a chicken corn chowder that was wonderful. My friend loved her chef salad as well.
I'd recommend this place go any occasion.
As always, the food was amazing! The chef never ceases to amaze with his creations that highlight the true flavors of the ingredients while maintaining elegant simplicity in his recipes. We had the crab cake which was served with a sriracha sauce and grapefruit segments on a bed of watercress that was delicious. My dinner was the pan seared scallops which came on top of these surprisingly tasty zucchini fritters that complemented the scallop perfectly. Dessert was the decadent chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce and housemade vanilla ice cream. The food at Thyme2 as always is second to none and the most elegant location in Medina to enjoy a truly original culinary experience.
Recently in the past year, we have become Medina residents and this restaurant was recommended to us. We have dined in the pub and upstairs dining 5 or 6 times. We have ALWAYS had superb food, excellent service and a pleasant dining experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining treat.
This location has both fine dining, as well as a pub menu. We had never been to this restaurant before, and we intended to go for the pub menu. This restaurant was more than accommodating, to re-seat us in the "pub" area. The food was wonderful and the service was good!
