It was very nice, but a little more expensive for $$
Long wait for service, server waited on tables seated after us first. Filet was raw, ordered medium, they did not offer to fire it up longer. Also a strange taste and bad, fatty, misshapen cut of beef. Not a good value.
Wonderful atmosphere and food
We sat at the bar for almost 10 minutes without getting a drink as the bartender was filling orders for the Tables so that was a little disappointing but everything else was excellent!!
2/27/21. - A 1:30 pm lunch with a very close friend. Time to enjoy the excellent service, delicious salad and lobster bisque. Ambiance outside was delightful. 83F and light breeze with sunny conditions. Tables space about 8-9 feet part and servers masked. All very enchanting for a memorable luncheon. We have been here for dinner, but late lunch was wonderful.
Very slow and less than ‘polished’ service. Lobster rolls were not very good.
Delicious meal, excellent service, and a great view of the ocean and resort. A lovely spot for a date night or any special occasion!
Everything was great!!
A wonderful selection of seafood and great wine!
Amazing food , great service , beautiful view!
We were vacationing and found this restaurant on Open Table. I was disappointed that they had a limited seafood menu but the Fish Tacos were very tasty.
Our experience was wonderful. We had a table against the window, so the view was beautiful. Our waitress, Jennifer, was charming and personable. The food was great. Can't ask for more than that. We were there for Sunday brunch.
Vacation, tradition to have Sunday brunch here
Jennifer took great care of us ... highly recommend her !!!
This restaurant gets good reviews but is overrated. The food was subpar. We started with the grilled octopus which had very little flavor. Next we had salads which were the best part of the meal. We had the Beachfront salad and the Spinach and Feta salad. Our entrees were the Black Grouper which was dry and very thin and the Sea Bass which was also very thin for Sea Bass and had to many flavors going on in it. Neither of these were worth the price we paid for them. Our server was very nice but service was spotty. She brought out our bread after we had our appetizers and only checked on us a couple of times. For a restaurant that charges the prices they do, they should be better trained for how meals should be served. The last part about our meal which was the most disturbing part was the couple with two young children who let their daughter scream through most of our meal. I know it is difficult for the restaurant staff to do something about this but the rest of your patrons should not have to listen to this. If you are looking for a delicious meal on Sanibel, head north to The Mad Hatter. Great food and service!
Great place to dine. Food was good and atmosphere outstanding!!
This is hidden gem of a restaurant. My wife and I have tried several of their dishes: salmon the coffee coded lamb is delicious; tenderloin and BBQ shrimps perfectly cooked. Among our favorites.
Valentine’s Day
The Rack of lamb was out of control good keep that on the menus
Excellent food snd service. Nice view of the gulf!!
Horrible! My entree arrived cold, my husband’s prime rib was all fat, and the service was horrible. Terrible to pay almost $200 for a meal that wasn’t even edible.
Made reservation in advance for Valentines Day. Got stuck in a back room with no Gulf view. Slow service. Entrees were great.
Valentines Day. When booked 6 weeks ago, no indication this was a fixed price menu. Limited choices verses regular menu. Roses handed to the ladies were badly wilted. Table seating was shoulder to shoulder in this continuing COVID environment. Difficult to find parking as they had a wedding going on at the same time and no valet parking option. Overall a very disappointing experience.
Service was excellent. Food was prepared and served elegantly. Steak temperature was off but otherwise a flawless experience.
Food was very good and service was uneven and spotty. Sometimes too fast and other times way too slow.
Great dinner as always
Experience was sub-optimal. Started out fine with mussels (a little over cooked but still good) and Spinach beets salad. Unfortunately, my Seabass arrived under cooked. By the time the redo was complete, my wife’s dinner was cold. I understand mistakes can happen, but not the experience we expected for a $200 plus meal with wine.
Booked from 250 miles away based on reviews. Went the day before Valentine's Day and was pleasantly surprised with more service than expected. They sat us 30 minutes early even with a full lobby. And the food...WOW. Considering driving 250 miles again just for the food!
Great view. The food wasn’t worth the price we paid. Also, beware of the $15 plate splitting charge they don’t tell you about.
crazy prices, but good food. $15 fee to split an entree?!!
Great outdoor space. Food and service was excellent!
We had an amazing experience tonight! We celebrated our anniversary with our two daughters. The table Bread and pesto butter they supply is mouth watering! The menu offered numerous meal options and a wonderful beverage selection. We enjoyed delicious appetizers & incredible entrees. Our daughters split an entree and our server, Tanya, assisted with tweaking the dish to add additional shrimp. We were attended to warmly and felt so pampered. Desserts offered additional mouth watering selections. We couldn’t decide so ordered several which we all shared. Tanya continued to check on us and we never needed to ask for anything, as she was on top of all touches that made this special night even more lovely. We continue to return here ever chance we have to visit Sanibel. Highly recommend a meal here.
We enjoyed the Caesar salad and lobster tail. The beautiful view of the Gulf was spectacular!
Great drinks, delicious lobster bisque! Austin was a great server!
Food and ambiance are very good. Lovely setting with views of the ocean. Quality of the food is excellent. Menu, although small, offers something for everyone. Portions are very generous and prices reasonable. A winner in my book.
Everyone enjoyed their entrees and appetizers. The key lime pie was excellent
Beautiful restaurant with a great view of the gulf. Food was ok, lobster bisque was wonderful. Lobster roll/salad was very salty, had to send it back we couldn’t eat
It. Service was very friendly but extremely slow, waited at least 15 minutes for a drink and 15-20 for the second drink. Restaurant was not very busy, waiter could have been more attentive.
Lobster Bisque and Yellowtail snapper special were excellent!
Beautiful views and amazing food!!! Love this place!!
Our food was as fantastic as always - the lobster bisque is the best! Eating outdoors was lovely and the heaters provided the perfect warmth.
