excellent meal and service was as always wonderful
never been disappointed in our experience at this restaurant over many years of coming here
It's heaven to have a nice restaurant in this area of town. We like dining here after visiting our loved ones around the corner at El Camino Memorial Park.
The very best food And service. Tucked Away restaurant . Absolutely love This Place. Consistent in quality.
MUSHROOM TOAST. My wife hates mushrooms and she loves this dish. Everything we had was great.
Loved it for a special treat
Birthday celebration was amazing thanks to this restaurant and the amazing food. We wish we could’ve eaten more
We are had a Barramundi and it was wonderful. Appetizers were equally enjoyable. Dessert service was uneven due to a big party. The wine was so good we bought a bottle on the way out. Always enjoy this place a real SD treasure.
Fantastic tuna tartare, so fresh and the sauce they served with it outstanding.
Prime New York cooked to perfection with polenta and broccoli rabe al dente.
WineSellar is a hidden gem in Sorrento Valley. It's perfect for business or personal lunches. They offer a variety of menu options from the $12 range up to mid $40's. Their service is very high quality and it's never very noisy.
The flavors popped with each item we tried and kept getting better and better. The wine list is incredible, and they impart their knowledge of wine in an unpretentious, friendly fashion which makes it a great learning and dining experience. We highly recommend you try The WineSellar!
We were there at lunch. so glad they brought that back for the whole week. The WineSellar and Brasserie never disappoints. It's amazing they've done so well for 30 years and located in a warehouse development to boot. They have always provided wonderful food with top notch chefs and wine selections. Their wines are varied and reasonably priced and you can frequently buy them downstairs in the wine shop. I also love the addition of the wine bar downstairs for happy hour drinks and food.
Keep up the good work.
Always love coming here. Small, quiet, pretty and classy restaurant. Great food. Wonderful service. The portobello caprese salad is worth writing home about.
Excellent food as usual, everyone loved what they ordered. Service was attentive but not overdone. Surprised there weren't more folks on a Friday but we enjoyed the peace! I've never been disappointed with W&B.
Everything was fresh and wonderful. Bison burger cooked perfectly. Best beef tarter with bone marrow. Wonderful tomato soup, spiced nicely. Service by Morro outstanding.
We had dinner at the restaurant to celebrate our 27th anniversary. Everything (ambience, food, service, etc.) was perfect! We will go back for sure!
The service is perfect. Wine list amazing. And, the food is good.
My favorite go to restaurant whenever I'm in the area. It's an old school elegant quiet French restaurant that is very hard to find in san diego
Great food in a somewhat out of the way restaurant in an industrial/commercial park. Very friendly, accommodating and attentive staff. Wild Boar was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. There take on a Caprese salad adding warm Portobello is fabulous. Terrific wine list, though you should be prepared to pay for the quality wines they offer. While our table was being prepared we did wait at the bar and strangely no one came to take our drink order
This is one of our favorites. The food is always excellent, as is the service. This occasion was a birthday and it was enjoyable as always. I had Spanish octopus which was perfectly done. If not prepared correctly it can be tough. The accompanying sauce complimented the dish perfectly. Their wine list is also xlnt. You can find great buys, or great wines at prices reflecting their reputation. And, if you are a wine club member you get 10% off!
We will return soon.
Exceptional food and service. NY steak with polenta was amazing. They poured my wine with a cheesecloth which is an absolute rarity in all of San Diego. Quiet, romantic, and perfect food and service. Love this restaurant!
Great food. Consistently great service, and not overly expensive. Highly recommended.
Love this little very classy restaurant in the middle of Qualcom city.
This area have few restaurants of this nature in the are and we found this one by accident. We come to Sand Diego each year and we will always return to WineSellar and Brasserie!
Service exceptional, food and wine impeccable. Great special occasion destination.
This is Mira Mesa's hidden gem. As the matter of fact, you would not know there is an upscale French restaurant upstairs walking into a wine store. This is not my first time at this place and it has been excellent every time! Delicious escargot and sea bass on special... both were spectacular. Highly recommend!
WE love this place for a nice dinner with friends. It's intimate, perfect for conversation, great staff, and superb food. Can't say enough!
Everything was fantastic. From food to service.
The execution of the menu at WSB continues to be a challenge. Everything else was so-so. Kitchen was slow and unprepared for Sat. We greatly enjoy Greg, the main server there. We wish he would move to a restaurant better deserving his knowledge and personality.
Fabulous food, wine and service, as always. The salmon I had was both delicious and served beautifully, and the salad and dessert wonderful as well. Terrific wine list, and the waiter was very helpful on wine selections.
My friends and I have been going to the WineSellar for some years now and it's invariably a top-notch experience. If we have a party of six or eight, we request the private room. It's furnished with just the right touch of elegance, designed to heighten the occasion. But either way, private room or main dining room (which is still intimate), there's nothing left to wish for by the end of the evening. Greg Freche, their sommelier, has become a friend, as we're into wine and he invariably heightens the evening with nuggets of wisdom on the wine we're having, whether it's one of theirs or one we brought in.
We and our friends are in our sixties or older now, meaning some of life's potential joys are now out of our reach, but as we left the WineSellar this last time, I remarked that this was one of the joys of life: dining with good friends at an excellent restaurant. That and going home to an early evening afterwards :)
Have visited twice now in the last two months as it was recommended by a family member. Did not disappoint! It is tucked away in Sorrento Valley/Sorrento Mesa area in a business park so you really have to look for the modest sign from the road and drive all the way to back of the business part to find it, but worth the work!
My companion enjoyed her meal. We were both disappointed that the bread was not warm, as we were told it was coming out of the oven. My lamb salad had almost no lamb. Usually a very good dining experience - not so much this time :-/
Even during a very busy luncheon hour, the service was attentive and smooth.
Our foods order were prepared deliciously and decorative.
Will be back to do dinner soon, so we can try out the wine list.
Of course. I have known you for some time but circumstances have kept me away.
Now as an octogenarian with an amazing friend of French origin who LOVES good wine, why not come more often?
This place is one of the best restaurants in San Diego that most people don't know exists. Service is top notch, and the food is even better.
I love this place. It has some of the best service, wine selection and food you can find in San Diego County. The menu is a nice mix of staples of gourmet cuisine and adventurous farm-to-table dishes. The service is top notch and can suggest a wine to pair with your meal.
The food was Ok..small piece of duck with tons of white beans ..no veggies, husband salmon was good..not greatI do cook..and when we go go out at those prices it needs to be better then I can make at home!
Our favorite restaurant , best food , best service , best menu !
My wife and I love The Winesellar & Brasserie. They have an especially great wine selection on the main level that includes a broad range of prices, such that it is reasonable even with the corkage fee in the dining room upstairs. And the food upstairs is exceptional French cooking at its finest! The ambience is fantastic, and the service as good or better than any in San Diego County restuarants. We highly recommend The Winesellar & Brasserie to those with a discriminating pallet.
Great business lunch atmosphere. Casual and not rushed.
Came for the wine list and was not disappointed. The food and service surpassed expectations.
