The Winery Restaurant has been an icon among western Colorado restaurants for over 35 years. The restaurant makes its home in a 95 year old building that used to house a horse drawn fire station. A gas lamp lit, grapevine canopied alley frames this romantic location perfectly. The beautifully remodeled building contains flowered stain glass windows, barn wood and bricks.

Steve Thoms acquired the restaurant in late June of 2004 after taking a couple of years off from his previous restaurant. His mission at he Winery is simple: Show the restaurant and its patrons the attention that they deserve. Use only top quality ingredients, and establish The Winery as the premiere restaurant in the Grand Junction area.

The Winery provides a variety of steaks, chicken, pork and fresh seafood specials nightly in an atmosphere that can not be rivaled anywhere!

Been going to the Winery for ever! They are hitting it on all fronts! The staff is great! The food couldn’t be better! I pretty picky and the food prep has been so good. I had sea bass last week and lamb this week and both were the best! Staff is great! Prices are good!

This place has been there forever and still does a nice job. Everyone is friendly and personable which is hard to find these days. The food is good, while pricey, still good.

The Winery restaurant is a local favorite of ours for special occasions. The menu is a nice mix of beef, chicken, and pork platters that are cooked to perfection. As for drinks and dessert, oh my the choices are plentiful. We highly recommend The Winery.

An OG establishment in GJ! I moved away in 85’ and have returned home. On visits home I’ve dined here every so often and this place never disappoints! The food was perfect and Nathan was a most excellent server

The staff is quite nice and friendly. We were met with open arms and escorted to a beautiful area. The service was amazing as was the presentation of the meal and the taste!! This is one of our favorite high class restaurant!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everything was delicious. We started with the macadamia nut crusted Brie and sea scallops that were bacon wrapped and covered an apricot chili sauce. Both of our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare. Service was impeccable.
