The Winery Newport Beach es un restaurante de casi 1.000 m² repartidos en 2 niveles que cuenta con un salón comedor en un patio al aire libre en la 2ª planta de 65 m² con vistas al puerto deportivo, 2 chimeneas al aire libre, sistema de calefacción de alta tecnología y toldos impermeables que permiten su uso durante todo el año. We had a lovely evening at the restaurant, enjoying a nice ambiance and a pretty view. The extensive wine list was a great touch. Our server was friendly, though a bit slow in service. I wouldn’t recommend the petite seafood tower, as the crab legs tasted like they had been sitting in water and was exactly as it said “petite.” The halibut special was good, but nothing to write home about. The seafood cioppino was enjoyable, and the lobster special was tasty, albeit slightly overcooked. I made our dinner reservations online through OpenTable and noted that it was my boyfriend's 60th birthday. Despite this, our waitress still asked the whole table whose birthday it was, which seemed unnecessary given the age difference among us. On the brighter side, the live music added to the atmosphere and was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place for appetizers and a seat at the bar to soak in the music. Overall, I felt that dinner was a bit overrated, but it was a pleasant experience nonetheless.

Celebrated my birthday on Saturday night. Our waitress and bubbly were great. Our booth was co.fortand we all enjoyed our entrees. On the more expensive side with fish dishes between $38 and $52, but good portions. I didn't look at the land dishes. The music was pretty loud for a water dining experience and we were shouting at one another but they kindly turned the music down a bit after we asked. Even the waitress couldn't hear us. You have to valet. No street parking along busy PCH except across the street but no light to cross. Don't do it. I've seen a lot of bad incidents. I miss the Villa Nova and this was all of our first dinner here since it's closing. I'm glad we all enjoyed it.

Asked the hostess for a table that we could see out the window for the e view. She said no. So I asked if we could wait and she refused to help us. We decided to stay. $300 later o now have a bad stomach. The seafood is much better at rusty pelican down the street and the hostess are much nicer. If you have a choice go to rusty pelican. It is much better.

The food was superb but the live music was way too loud. It's nice that they don't rush you through your meal but it was a bit too slow. Very pretty view of the boats and water.

We love dining on the water and this is the perfect location for a Birthday celebration! Chilean sea bass, halibut, filet, and short ribs - all perfectly prepared and delicious! Our server, Troy was professional and pleasantly attentive to everyone at our table. Our celebration continued quite late, though there was never any rush from Management, and the Valet insured our vehicle was ready when we departed. Always a pleasure to dine at The Winery - Thank you!
