Always great food and service
Amazing meal, incredible service, and wonderful ambiance. The baked brie is such an amazing appetizer and the shrimp risotto was divine. Plus, the Chardonnay that you can get pours of was delicious.
I had a friends bday dinner…they had us in a little cute room that was perfect😉 the service was amazing and the food was good!
Great food, outdoor patio was perfect and the service was excellent!!!
Lily was an awesome server. Great suggestions and very attentive. Food and wines were excellent!
It was my first time at the Wine Bistro, and I work across the street! Loved the patio! The Salmon salad was fabulous!
Looking forward to my next visit.
I really did not have much just the French Onion Soup.
A small but very well curated wine list offers a wealth of excellent selections, and four flights are available for those who can't choose. To go with our wine, we ordered four "small" plates, all of which were excellent (crab cakes, truffled mushroom bruschetta, hummus trio and antipasto platter). It was a great night to sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening. The service was professional, prompt and attentive.
Very good food. We wanted a patio and we were able to enjoy our meal outside. Very attentive servers, too!
Over the years, we've been to the Wine Bistro location on Lane Avenue dozens of times. Obviously, our experiences had been positive. Until last evening. From the time we were seated til midway through our meal, this iteration was grossly subpar.
We sat at our table for more than 10 minutes before being acknowledged by our server, even though she attended to the table next to us who had arrived after we did. Our cocktail menu request took 10 minutes. Food delivery was more than a half-hour. What's more, the bed of potatoes and asparagus under the saltimbocca was ICE COLD. No server in sight, so I began to eat anyhow. When our server finally did make an appearance, I noted the issue and, even though she offered reheat everything (which I refused at that point), nothing was done until the manager in charge came to our table. He comped my cold entree; that was sufficient.
I know Covid is a factor in many businesses. No doubt that it has caused issues in the kitchen and with the serving staff in restaurants. I empathize with them. My work situation has similar problems. As much as we love to dine out, restaurants need to do whatever it takes to do better in these challenging times or face the consequences. We will return to Wine Bistro, but if things fall short again, it will be our last visit.
The restaurant is really pretty inside and has a nice patio outside. It was fairly busy but it still shouldn't take 15-20min to get a hummus plate delivered. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced. It just took extra long to get our entrees too and all I ordered was a steak salad that was super bland and fairly small for almost $20. Overall it was an okay experience. I might come again for the wine and an appetizer only. Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen?
This was our first time at The Wine Bistro. It was late so we just went for a couple of small plates and a glass of wine. I had the baked Brie and my husband had the braised veal meatball. Both were excellent. We will definitely return for dinner.
Oven fired penne was fantastic. Mushrooms on bruschetta were delicious - no need for so much cheese. Great patio!
Good food good service nice night out
My experience was fine, food was good but my friend with me wasn’t as good. Her margarita flatbread pizza was definitely below par. The waitress tried to fix it but it still was not as good as usual. It was taken off the tab, which was very nice.
Great creative food selections
Fondue- delicious!! Flatbreads- Amazing!! Ambience is perfect for sipping a variety of wines from around the world paired with awesome imaginative munchies. We did not have dinner but the options looked really good! We were visiting but I would love to have one of these in my hometown!
Had a lovely dinner with my daughter last night. Such a quaint Napa like restaurant that has great food and wine. Lauren was our server. She made our experience extra special. We will definitely be back!!
Love this cozy place with yummy food
We had a great dinner with our party of 7. I appreciated that they put us in a private alcove that could be closed off by curtains. Our server was very thoughful and did a great job
The entire experience was fantastic!
Food was great. Great dining experience.
I would come for apps and wine if I came again. The entrees were underwhelming. Many missing ingredients from the listed menu.
Such a nice fun place that was very accommodating to my dietary needs!
My first time at this establishment.
The restaurant was not full, lots of available tables inside, but for some strange reason I was told that I would be seated at the bar. Fine, I was there to eat not people watch.
I ordered French onion soup (it was good), the Winery salad (also good) and one dish to go - Beef Short Ribs that was recommended by the bartender who was my server. Short ribs were very tender, but alas flavorless, and at a price of $28 I would expect a bit better.
Décor and ambiance were on par from what I could see, but once again I was facing the bar most of my dinner. All female servers were wearing dresses, I would assume by design (?) , something I have not seen in a long time in restaurants.
The only element that was a real turn off was my server (bartender) referring to me as "dear" all the time. This is supposed to be a classy establishments, so let's keep things classy, shall we?
This was a great find! The wine selection was great and the food delicious. We will definitely go back!
My wife and I were celebrating our 2nd year wedding anniversary and wanted to try a place we'd never been to before. Everything was on point for us, from the delicious orange marmalade on the cheese board to our blonde brownie dessert after our pasta dishes. We will be back soon.
Excellent service and very delicious food as always!
Portions are too small but food is great! Ambiance is great too!
Perfect for date night and lucky that it was restaurant week. We added two wine flights and the beautiful Antipasto Board. Perfect Start to an amazing meal. We had a lovely time.
We have had good experiences in the past, but this was not one of them. The food was fair at best. The service was slow with two different wait staff. I ordered a drink and after 30 minutes I told the waitress to not bother bringing it. She brought it anyway 10 minutes later and seemed confused when I said to take it away. She came back with it saying there would be no charge, but we had already finished our meal.
Our previous experiences were so good that we will most likely return, but were were disappointed.
Great deal for restaurant week!
The food and drinks were good, though the staff was not only rude to us but rude to each other. Toward the end of our meal, the hostess came over and told us that there was a party with a reservation waiting for our table and asked if we could hurry up and finish. We hadn’t seen our server in quite some time and were waiting to order dessert. The server was upset with the hostess for trying to push us out, but continued to rush us through dessert and cashing out anyways. We had only been there for an hour and 20 minutes and had ordered the three-course restaurant week meal, so it’s not like we were overstaying our welcome. Probably won’t go back.
We went there for restaurant week to try it out and it was amazing. The food was incredible.
Lily was wonderful, really enjoyed our time at the wine bistro!!!!
It was great and the service was fantastic! Recommend this for a relaxed atmosphere.
Dinner was great and service was excellent
Food was cold and service was pretty bad. I was disappointed because I had been there before and enjoyed the experience, but yesterday’s experience was disappointing
