The Wine Bistro - Upper Arlington
Choose a table for two, a relaxed seat in the soft seating area, gather a group at one of the communal tables or in the private tasting room. Shop for wine priced at near state minimum or pay a small corkage fee (waived on Mondays & Tuesdays) to enjoy your bottle in-house.
We look forward to exploring great wine and food with you soon...
My book club gathered here for our January meeting. It was a Monday night, so there was no corking fee. We enjoyed delicious wine and interesting appetizer in a beautiful atmosphere.
Great spot for friends get together!
Everything was great, but the food needs more seasoning. I’m not a big salt person and my friend and I both had to load our food with salt.
We hadn’t been here in a while and we thoroughly enjoyed reacquainting ourselves with the wine list and the menu. We truly enjoyed our meals and the ability to have a quiet conversation in this relaxing atmosphere. Will return again soon.
We had a wonderful meal and great service. We will definitely be back!
We go here often we meet every Thursday for lunch and golf weather permitting. Always enjoy the food, service and ambiance. We all have our favorites.
Great service...Not rushed... Actually get to take time and enjoy the meal and the last wine selection in town.
New year eve
The food, wine and service was fantastic!
Was there on a first date and everything was excellent. The waitstaff was fabulous in letting us sit and talk with our wine while checking on us just often enough. Also had one of their flatbread which was delicious!
My all time favorite place for Happy Hour with the girls. Never disappoints. Tatayana was our fabulous kind server❤️🍷
All round good time, good appetizer, meal, wine and dessert!
Attentive wait staff, a comfortable restaurant with a warm atmosphere. There were 4 of us---three were served at the same time and we had to wait for the fourth dinner. Awkward and the meals did get lukewarm. I can't recall when I've been to a restaurant and all the meals are not served at the same time. Also, one meal had a specific recommendation and it arrived without the accommodation. For that dinner, I would rate it a 1.
Came here for holiday get together with friends.
Service was really slow even though they were not busy. Food came out so so warm. 1st time to this location and disappointed.
Fantastic experience. We had the winery salads, chicken saltimbocca, and crabcake sandwich. Portions were on the smaller side, which we prefer, but may not be enough for some people. Prices are reasonable.
Great service and food is consistently impressive. Very cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
The Wine Bistro in Upper Arlington was the perfect place to celebrate a 21st birthday with family and friends this past weekend! The appetizers and wine were phenomenal, the staff attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting! I highly recommend!
Great food and atmosphere. The service was also top notch. Well done!
Our group of five ladies enjoyed each other's company at one of our favorite restaurants. The food was very good, and there's always a nice selection of wine. Service was a little slow, but there was only one person taking orders in the entire restaurant. An assistant helped deliver food. We had a good time and will be back.
We enjoyed a glass of wine and antipasto platter in a quiet atmosphere on a Sunday evening. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and made good wine recommendations for us. The food was good and the antipasto platter was enough for two of us to share with bread, cheeses and a little sliced salami and sausage.
Very cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices for delicious food and wine. Excellent service from Grant. Very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the menu.
Great wine selection and very friendly staff.
Definitely NOT a good place for a first date, too loud. But overall great restaurant/gathering place and great service!
Service and food were slow, but everything else was great! Will return, soon.
Great service. Waiter was awesome. Chicken saltimbocca was delicious.
The service here is always amazing and the food wonderful! The wine isn't bad either!!!
First visit to the Wine Bistro. I really enjoyed it. Medium sized menu but there were a lot of good choices. The food that I had was excellent, as was the wine.
Came to meet a friend for happy hour. Ordered house red wine and the hummus plate with veggies. Food and wine were excellent and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back.
Our meals were delicious and served by a very professional and attentive individual. The noise level was low at the time and we truly enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of the establishment.
I have also dined outside when weather was favorable and that was enjoyable as well.
I will definitely return.
We love this restaurant the food is wonderful and the service is excellent
Excellent everything! The Wine Bistro does not disappoint. My friend who is a sommelier was very impressed.
Always very good service, very attentive and the food is quite good - many items are excellent. Ambiance is excellent and the wine flights are great.
Super food and atmosphere is cozy nestled within all the wine! Highly recommend this spot close to campus when visiting- nice shopping across the street too.
I have had great lunches there. But, our food was just o.k....and the service was very spotty
Enjoyed sitting on the patio! Good wine, and lovely weather
Great food, very attentive and outstanding service for my birthday party of 25 in the Harvest (bar) area.
We've dined here before, but once again enjoyed our light meal and glass of wine. The food service was a bit slow, but understandably as we were there on a Friday night and the place was really busy. When the food came, it was well-prepared and hot (the Tres Carnes flatbread) and really tasty (hummus/tapenade trio with toasted naan plus dipping veggies). Our server was quite pleasant and helpful and I was able to taste the wine (the Carignan Blanc, which went great with everything we ate - very crisp and refreshing) before buying a glass.
The only negative for us is the noise level - makes it a bit difficult to have a conversation. We'll be back again.
A good neighborhood restaurant near Ohio Stadium, making it a natural post-game dinner place. Good food priced quite reasonably with an excellent wine list. Flatbreads, salads, mains. It is noisy, even when not extremely busy but not unbearably so. A place to keep in the rotation for sure.
This place is a never-fail for a last minute get together. The menu is great and the wine selection is fantastic!
Shrimp and Risotto... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
