    Glad to see they reduced the size of the soda bread portion! Delicious, but it had been far too large.

    We enjoyed our pre-theatre, early dinner at the Wilmington on 10th June. Their menu is very interesting and we each could happily have chosen several dishes. Our food was very good, nicely cooked, well presented, and decent portion sizes. We also enjoyed both of the vegetable side-orders which were interesting and made a nice foil to the rich main-course I had chosen. The dessert of Manchester Tart with Coconut sorbet was delicious. The waiting staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful, and I actually complimented the chef and told him how much we'd enjoyed our meal. It was very warm in the dining area, and I understand there is no A/C, however, our waiter opened a door which made all the difference within minutes.

    Really friendly welcome, good food swiftly prepared. Interesting food too at a good price. Nice range of wines. Recommended!
