⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast! We had such a great experience at The Wilmington. The roast dinner was absolutely delicious — the beef was cooked to perfection: tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The rest of the meal was just as impressive, with perfectly roasted veg and generous portions. What really made the visit extra special was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When our table reservation ended, they kindly moved us to another table so we could stay longer and relax, which we really appreciated. All in all, a brilliant place for a Sunday roast — great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

A favorite for an amazing pub roast, generous portions, all well cooked, solid drinks options and delightful pudding options! Highly recommend!

Great derive and food, as always. Great selection of beers, cocktails and wine. Big thanks to Amanda who looked after us throughout. This is definitely on our ‘go to’ list!

Fantastic Sunday lunch with brilliant service. The staff cared about timings (we were going to the theatre) and responded swiftly to requests. The lunch itself was excellent and good value- less than it would be back home in the Cotswolds. Special thanks to our waitress Amanda!

Always a lovely meal in the Wilmington whether it’s a burger , roast or just small snacks … the food is nicely presented and fresh and most of all tasty. The service is great all staff are pleasant and friendly especially Amanda she’s so engaging and attentive and noting is to much for her if help is wanted. Just a nice place to meet family or friends and chill out on any occasion.

1st time at The Wilmington - really enjoyed it. Service was excellent - food is a mixture of small plates (which can be starters) and mains. All of our food was delicious and it was really hard to decide what to have. Sorry we couldn't stay for a pudding but the theatre called. Only reason the ambience was down a bit was because it was early amd not very full. The actual dining room is lovely with a big ceiling light so it feels airy. Would recommend.

Enjoyed dinner yet again at The Wilmington always a pleasure when Martin is in the kitchen. Service a little hit and miss today due to the weather being so nice it was very busy. Understandable. Delicious Calf liver and the desert Granny Chocolate pudding sublime

Another Sunday roast at the Wilmington, the food and service is so good and the staff are so engaging and pleasant, one of the best Sunday roasts around plenty of veg and a good Vegetarian/vegan Sunday roast option and the side dishes add to the meal.
