This place was the best dining experience of our entire vacation to Jackson Hole. It happened to be on our last night in town. Previous nights we went to other well known fine dining restaurants and the food was artistic but NOT delicious. The White Buffalo met every expectation and redeemed our opinion of good food in JH. The waiter was charming and hardworking and anticipated our needs. The chef introduced himself. We had the giant tomahawk steak which was sliced for the table of 5 to share. It was cooked to perfection. We had several sides and desserts that were great, but if you love bread, the bread and gourmet butter infused with roasted garlic was amazing!

Service was great, but the food experience was not so great. My husband ordered a bison filet medium rare. It came out rare AND cold. They took it back to cook it a bit more. In the meantime, I took a bite of the lobster Mac and cheese. Looked great, but alas, COLD! My husband took a tiny bite of the asparagus. It looked grotesque and he said that the consistency was rubbery. When the hostess/server came back with the bison, I sent both sides back and said we did not want a replacement. I do want to call out that the hostess/server was fantastic and gracious.

Great dining experience. The best prime corn fed beef around! Service was great and food was outstanding. The quality of the steaks were over the top compared to the Four Seasons where we ate the previous night. The cost of our meal with alps and desserts with the best prime filers and two side s dishes for about $150 compared to $450 at the Four Seasons and they did not serve Prime beef. Excellent choice, outstanding beef and a great value. Service was very attentive and accommodating would highly recommend White Buffalo

Our server was very good and food is fine. Very expensive. The bad-the bartender who was working Wed PM was so busy talking with his pals he could not make our cocktails for some 30 minutes. An they were not good. Get rid of the jerky bartender. And bring your wallet.

First time here. Ambience is small and a bit out-dated, but Marcy was a great server for us and our meals were excellent. Beef Tartare was very good quality, though I would maybe go with Crostini over the wonton chips? White Bean toast was very tasty. My Pork Tomahawk was had a great sear on it and was cooked perfectly. The Maple Rum glaze was excellent too. My wife really enjoyed the Sea Bass. Corkage was only $30! Thank you! We will return!

Seated straight away. Meet with and had light conversation with the chef. Server was efficient and very polite. Appetizers where phenomenal, choice of wine was excellent. Food was prepared and served as requested. Very tasty and hot. Price was as expected for the locale and type of restaurant. Note: Extremely little to no cellular service in the restaurant. So be prepared to actually talk with your family or friends.

I was a little disappointed this time. The mushrooms were not cooked enough and we must have missed in the description of the cookie dessert that it had butterscotch in it cause we would not have ordered it, especially for a birthday celebration.

This restaurant has finally hit bottom. My steak was a greasy gray slab of low-grade beef. It looked and tasted disgusting. My lobster mac and cheese was not hot and was tasteless. Truly one of the worst meals I have ever paid for. Never going back.

Went for an anniversary dinner while on our vacation, The White Buffalo is such a nice hotel , but the restaurant food was awful. My husband ordered a ribeye, and did not even eat it. It looked like it was warmed up and not even grilled or seared, almost like it was microwaved or something. so disappointed because we settled on this place because we were staying there now we wish we would’ve went to another restaurant. I ordered the fish which was mediocre. Would never eat there again

We had four diners in our party and we had the venison (North American White Tail), bison NY steak, bison filets. The venison and bison meat were fantastic and perfectly prepared at medium rare. We had a rich cabernet that went well with our entrees and our cocktails - dry martinis of course - were prepared to our liking. The only reason I gave the overall rating 4 stars was because they were out of the Elk T-Bone which is what I wanted to try; hopefully, next time they will have it! Wait staff was great and attentive. I like the ambience of the basement and heavy and dark wood accents in the dining room--reminds me a bit of a old western speakeasy. Well done!

The best steak I’ve ever had. I’ve had top quality steaks from various locations but this stands out as the best. The wines list is excellent and reasonably priced. I would never visit Jackson without a trip to The White Buffalo Club. If I had to provide some sort of downside it’s that the restaurant, while very warm, comforting, and well decorated, is located in the basement of the hotel, which means you miss out on views of the mountains.

The steaks we ordered (A5 Tenderloin and Ribeye) were presented on the heated salt block and finished the cooking at our table. It was DELICIOUS. The wasabi with the A5 was incredible. I can’t think of a better steak. The sides were family style (and large). Although the sides were not complex or layered with different flavors, they were tasty and plentiful. Dessert was INCREDIBLE (chocolate mousse) and was rich and nuanced in flavor. Delightful dinner with elegant ambiance.
