Our brunch on Mother's Day was very nice. The eggs Benedict and breakfast plate were delicious As was my brute tart. cherry cocktail.
It seems they were short of help which has been a dilemma for Door County as of late, but we Understood And our server was delightful (and we were in no hurry ).We certainly will be back again, Just one suggestion, a nicer selection of music would be in order.

We really enjoyed our dinner. Had Cod and Fish and Chips. It was quiet as it isn’t season yet, first time there, and will go back.

Every food items was thoughtfully prepared and demonstrated a real sense of creativity with balanced flavors and textures. The entrees were excellent- combining some traditional ingredients in new and different ways and using different cooking styles to add interest. The cod and the feticinni were a delight.

Quaint, classic hotel and restaurant in the center of Fish Creek. The ambiance is warm and charming, the service excellent and relaxed and the food was delicious. It's a great place for Brunch, Dinner or a glass of wine or beer at the bar.

Amazing! Have been to Door County many times and this was my first time here. Exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, many choices even with the limited menu. My group shared 4 entrees which gave us all a nice sampling. We enjoyed the atmosphere, which was rustic chic without even trying for it. Cannot say enough good about this restaurant. Try it! You will not regret it.

Went there for Sunday brunch and was very disappointed..
Our server was rude . My tea was not hot and when I asked to have more hot water she questioned me on if it was really not hot. She didn't come by for coffee refills and basically had an attitude.

It took 45 minutes to get our food, which is fine however, our pancake order was terrible. They were flat, cold and rubbery.

We picked this place because it is an old inn and thought it would be unique.

We both got the rib ragout and shared a chopped salad. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the wine.

Our experience at Whistling Swan was just ok. Service was really bad, but servers were nice, if that makes sense. I think they were very understaffed. Food - cheese board, fish and chips, and baked cod - was good. We planned to get dessert, but didn’t, because our kids were ready to go. Hope they are better staffed for the busy season. I understand COVID probably makes business unpredictable.

First visit to this restaurant. Hostess/waitress had to have the brunch menu printed off before we were seated. Waitress brought the requested coffee, but needed to be asked for sugar & creamer. When brunch was served at our table, waitress forgot to bring silverware initially. The food presentation and taste were above our expectations.

Our dining experience at Whistling Swan was absolutely lovely! The service was great, we felt taken care of but not smothered. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. And the ambiance was romantic and inviting. Will definitely be having more date nights there in the future!

It was a very cold night in Fish Creek. Not many people out and about. We were the first people to arrive and the waitress was excellent. She discussed the menu and expained why they do not offer the normal 5 course meal in winter (not enough customers). We were seated right by the fireplace and evening was excellent. A very nice place and when more people arrived everyone was nice and quiet. Will be back for sure.

We have eaten here multiple times and always love it. Some of the new menu items have an "Asian fusion" vibe and are excellent. We had the brussels sprout appetizer and loved it. Everything was very fresh and excellent. We bought a round for the kitchen for desert!

Made reservation while attending Progressive Dinner in Fish Creek. Reserved table by fireplace for the ambiance and celebrating double anniversary with son and daughter in law. When we arrived we were greeted by hostess and she immediately commented on whether we were reservation that requested table by fireplace and i acknowledged. The fireplace was not lit and the temperature outside was near freezing, when I asked about lighting it she said it was warm enough in restaurant. She never acknowledged the double anniversary all night, which she would have seen because it was with the fireplace seating request. She sat us and never took drink order, but stated she would be right back, after 15 minutes I went to server bar area and asked if she could take drink order and she replied she was just getting our waters. She took our drink order and did not come back with that for another ten minutes. We had to inform her that we were ready to have her take our food after another wait. When my daughter in law ordered her filet well done she rolled her eyes and my son informed her that my daughter in law is pregnant and needs everything cooked thoroughly. All the meals were good, but menu is limited. Service was disappointing. When we ordered desserts for the table it took over 15 minutes to bring them out and no acknowledgement of double anniversary celebration.
We have made it a tradition to visit the Whistling Swan annually for past 16 years when attending progressive dinner, but will think twice about coming back again. The restaurant was not overly busy either, two other tables.

Great experience. Our server, Claire, was very attentive and went out her way to answer our question about a bottle of wine she wasn’t familiar with. The food was awesome. One of my favorite restaurants in Door County.
