Went to brunch to relax after a late night with the neighbors. The endless bloody's were the right call. The menu was comprehensive and tasty. We will be back.
Thanks, Bill! We have bottomless Mimosas at brunch as well!
Fantastic find in Sellersville.... very unique speciality cocktail menu and excellent service
Dinner was amazing from my Tuna Tartare to my perfectly glazed Salmon.
My waiter Brett made the evening even more special. Great service, prompt and always a pleasure to talk to! Two big thumbs up 👍👍
Everything was great. Enjoyable evening. Recommend
What looks as though it was once a beautiful experience- is now in need of aesthetic upgrade. Very old building - cool overhead lamps looked deco 50s. Period (not sure which- old period I suppose) sheer drapes yellowed with age- could use some beautiful draperies. Floor carpeting looked old- splitting and filthy. I could smell the mustiness in the place throughout dinner.
Food was good and by the menu items looked like they scored a good chef by reputation. Or COVID. Not a return again unless you are looking for a burger (excellent ), salad (Caesar was delicious) and a beer in the bar room as it has close proximity to the Sellersville Theatre.
Food is always excellent. Service is great. Love dining indoors but because of Covid we ate outside. Outside is extremely noisy with the traffic on the main road. Will still go back. One of my favorite places to eat.
It was a perfect evening! Service was excellent the food was amazing and the restaurant is very charming
It’s a great place for ambiance and great service and wonderful food.
Thank you for your wonderful review-three for three on food, service and ambiance! We appreciate your kind words.
The food and service we’re phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back!
Great menu options, ranging from moderately-priced sandwiches to modestly-priced entrees, with charming, turn-of-the 19th century atmosphere. Outstanding service -- personable without being presumptuous, just the right amount of checking-in. Will definitely dine there again when I'm in the area.
Thank you for shout out, Sue. We appreciate you noticing everything that defines us!
Sunday 12 noon the menu selection for Brunch had some great surprises. I suggest the bottomless Bloody Marys. ;)
Thank you for your suggestion and kind words! We love the versatility of our brunch-you can order a la carte or have a delicious three course meal for $25. And yes, our proprietary Bloody Marys are a great addition!
Great experience as usual
Lovely meal in one of the smaller rooms. It’s so pleasant when you can sit and relax over a good meal and not have people at other tables talking so loudly that you are able to hear every word of their conversation. We both commented on how respectful everyone was, especially considering the fact the every table was full. They had an excellent priz fix menu for $35. The soup (Spring Pea with Crabmeat) and the salad (asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with Arugula and mushrooms) was excellent. The mains were Lamb Bolognese with fresh paparadelle pasta and Red Snapper in a curry cream sauce. Both were delicious.
We arrived in town early for a Friday night show. For lunch; Wild Mushroom Arancini, and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus Salad Appetizers were delicious. The Lamb Bolognese was banging, as were the Chicken Salad Lettuce Cups. For dinner before the show we had the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Seared Sea Scallops, With Spanish saffron risotto, mussels, rock shrimp and chorizo.. so very well prepared, dinner in this historic landmark was delightful.
The venue is right Nextdoor, beautiful!
The liver pate was stellar, and I had planned to try it after reviewing the menu online. The surprise was the pea soup with crabmeat. I only decided to try that on the spur of the moment. It was amazing, and creamy! Turns out they added puréed parsnips to make it so creamy. A delicious take on an old standard!
As always, our dining experience was excellent. We started going to the Washington House on our first date and have been going back to celebrate special occasions ever since. The staff always makes us feel special as if we were the most important people there.
Great place for Lunch, enjoyed everything! Food was fresh and incredible
First, let me say Washington House employs the sweetest staff. From the hostess, to the server Ellie and her support Natalia, they could not have been more efficient and accommodating. From the lovely covid distancing booth to the service, all was delightful. The tuna & scallop dinners were appealing and tasty. Don’t pass up the Blue Crab tostado appetizer. No room for dessert but a great selection. Always a sure thing at Washington House. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up for outside dining. They did have patio heaters for the adventurous.
Thank you, DebW. We really appreciate your kind words about our staff. We are lucky to have very talented and kind people in both the dining room and the kitchen! Definitely try dessert next time!
Excellent! Service and food was great. Condition and cleanliness was also. Will definitely stay again. Surprised to see there was no bible in my room. I was disappointed to not see one, especially from a victorian hotel in Pennsylvania.
We dine there whenever we're in town for a show. Food is always good. It is a quaint place to get a good meal. We will return
Friends anniversary, lovely😉👍
Food was delicious and prepared to our specifications. Very friendly waitress and attentive.
Our server Jess was very attentive and made our dinner a great experience.
Thank you, Scott! Jess will love to hear you appreciated her service!
We’re old patrons but haven’t been out because of covid. It was great to get out and the food was terrific. I’m sure the restaurant won’t like this but I like the covid spacing of the tables
Thanks for your kind words, DJBJR! Our table placement will be the same as long as there is social distancing, so take advantage of it and visit us again soon! We are happy you enjoyed being out and felt safe with us!
Outstanding in every respect from food to service. We will return!
Food was delicious. Server was great. Loved dining outside.
Thank you, Lisa! Our heated tent will go up at the end of the month, and stay around until it is warm enough to eat outside without it for the summer. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are so glad we were able to contribute to making your son's birthday, special! Thank you for choosing us for your special dinner, Evelyn.
nice event, food was a little rushed, and getting a 2nd drink took a bit long to do.
Tremendous food and atmosphere. Our favorite go to place.
The food and service were awesome, as always! So glad they are open on Monday's. We love this place so much that we got married here 12 years ago. We'll be back!
This was our 3rd time at the Washington House. The place is a consistent excellent dining experience. The shrimp crab cakes and salmon were delicious as was the bread pudding. We also like the size and quality of the drinks.
The service is attentive but not overbearing. I apologize for not remembering our server’s name but she did a great job .
Caesar salad and beet salad were delicious. Filet and chicken were also delicious, served piping hot and perfectly cooked. They were very busy which was great! Also had cosmos and they were perfectly mixed.
Great place , great food , and excellent service .
Excellent food, service and ambiance!!
Excellent as always. We really enjoy the Washington House before a show.
