- EElizabethVIPChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur second visit in 2 weeks as the food is very nicely prepared, service appropriately attentive, and priced to enjoy a full meal from appetizers to dessert. Their lunch special for two is really nice with wine or beer included. Had the salmon with couscous both times and it was excellent.More infoThe Washington House - PennsylvaniaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Sellersville•4.8

- TTanyaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 6, 2025Such a great experience! I booked dinner for my son's birthday at Sapori. We have eaten here before and I did make a note it was for his birthday. Everyone is very welcoming as soon as you walk in. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and sweet and the bus boys were also on top of their game clearing plates and bringing more bread. They also brought out my son a cannoli with a candle and sang him happy birthday. This is such a warm and welcoming environment and the food here is homemade and SOOO delicious. The garlic bread is AHHHMAZZING!! Such a hidden gem in Perkasie - try it - you wont be disappointed!!More infoSapori Italian Restaurant - PerkasiePrice: Moderate• Italian• Perkasie•4.8
- KKimberlyPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 6, 2025This was our first time dining here, so we were not sure what to expect. We came into the restaurant through the bar door, and it was extremely crowded and loud -- not only at the bar, but the tables behind it and off to the side. Upon checking in on the other side, we were very pleased to be seated in a large dining area in the right, which was much quieter. Our server and the manager worked with my husband to arrange a flight of bourbons that he had chosen ahead of time, which was very nice. I had a glass of Pinot Noir. We started with the Whipped Goat Cheese, with balsamic, peach jam, basil, pistachio, and fresh blackberries with toasted bread. It was outstanding! My husband chose the lamb burger, accompanied by LTO, cheddar cheese, peppadews, peppadew aioli on a brioche bun. I chose the grilled chicken croissant with white cheddar, pickled apple, bacon, and horsey sauce. Service was excellent -- we appreciated the check-ins to make sure everything was perfect. Next time, I would park in the parking lot toward the top, to avoid coming in at the bar side, and I will definitely request the dining room away from the bar. Outstanding overall -- we will be back.More infoSpinnerstown HotelPrice: Expensive• American• Quakertown•4.8

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover Sellersville
When thinking of food in the Philadelphia area, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the cheese steak. The City of Brotherly Love founded the cheese steak sandwich in the 1930s. Sellersville, just outside of Philly, is home to a few sub shops that boast dozens of different variations on this classic. Most local restaurants are pretty casual, so if a good old Philly cheesesteak is what you're in the mood for, you've come to the right place. There are several American restaurants serving up hamburgers, locally caught venison, marinated chicken, and much more. You'll also find a few local coffee shops that are open daily for a warm, homemade breakfast.
