Love this restaurant!
Bday-free delicious dessert
For the Bday girl-round table as requested 😊
The food and service was fantastic! We will definitely go back for another dining experience. Have already recommended it to many friends!
We were staying in the hotel and made our reservation a month in advance. To our surprise we were seated in the bar next to the back door. The bar was crowded and loud. The food was good for the price but the atmosphere that we had been looking foward to was a total disappointment.
A gem with so many options for sight, sound, lodging, and great food in one place! Convenient parking too!
But it’s the people that make this place special...everyone seems upbeat, friendly and interested in helping make the experience the best it can be! CINDY, the restaurant manager and Joel, our server were both outgoing and a credit to the Washington House!
Everything was fantastic! From the food to the ambience! Highly recommend checking this place out! Very cool old historic building!
I took my girlfriend to the Washington House before a show next door at the Sellersville Theater on 4/13/19. The food was outstanding, service was very good, and the ambiance was really fitting for a romantic date. She loved the entire evening. The menu at the WH was very intriguing. The baked salmon I ordered was executed very well. She got the filet mignon which she enjoyed very much. I enjoyed the pea soup w/ crab meat starter. We also got some carrot cake for dessert. After dinner we moved to the bar for an after-dinner cocktail. Great bartender and unique drink items. Terrific.
Great food. Great service. Will definitely go back.
Dinner at Washington House was great. My wife had the filet; I had the shrimp-and-crab cakes. Both were excellent. Service was also great. The chocolate raspberry mousse cake and key lime pie were also excellent. The special deal you get when you also stay at the hotel is worth it. The only minor complaint is dinner took a little longer than expected, since we were also going to the concert at Sellersville Theater. Maybe a 6:15 reservation next time, instead of 6:30.
Hadn't been to Washington House for several years and we were blown over by ambiance and friendliness. By far the most outstanding part of the visit was our server Gabby. Friendly and knows her way around food. She was terrific! The food was very good and so were the drinks. We stopped at the bar while waiting for our table and the bartender was also great. So, we can't wait to go back. We have tickets for a show at the Theater the last part of May and we certainly will visit Washington House first. A real gem.
Always a staple when attending shows at The Sellersville Theatre. Never disappoints.
We went here before seeing a show at the theater next store. The service was outstanding and they unexpectedly gave us desserts on the house when they found out it was our anniversary. The food was good but I thought a little expensive given the average size portions. Our server was excellent and
was the highlight of our dining experience.
This is an amazing restaurant hidden in plain site in Sellersville PA. Food, service and the entire dining experiencing is a pure pleasure! Intimate small rooms and charming appointments add to the experience. Service is excellent, their knowledge of the menu preparation and ingredients is great!
Alterations of say vegetable selection and other details work to make it easy to have you like and like you get!
The Washington House never disappoints. We took our son and daughter-in-law there to celebrate their birthdays and had the delicious meal in a quaint, cozy setting that we knew we would. Jackie, our server, could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
Very good restaurant with quality food. Being next door to the Sellersville theater is a plus for anyone wanting to eat and then see a show.
As always , excellent food, our server Carly is the best, good drinks, not too crowded. Come here before every show, can think of no reason to go elsewhere
We happened to reserve a table on a night that they had a wine tasting event. That was a wonderful surprise. My husband and I enjoyed trying four new wine varieties. We had an incredible dinner. The food was so delicious. Our server was very attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful date night. I would highly recommend trying the Washington House. I look forward to our next visit there!
The historic ambiance is wonderful. The varied and inviting dinner choices challenged our ability to choose. The food was absolutely delicious and the world class service made the dining experience wonderful.
Washington House is a great spot for food and a drink before another concert at the Sellersville Theater
The waitress could've been friendlier. I appreciate service with a smile, especially at these prices. She didn't offer cracked pepper with the salads. Service was slow. The atmosphere/ambiance was lovely. Bathrooms and restaurant were very clean. The entree was only mediocre. The "side" dish (potatoes, vegetables, etc) is just a splash not even equivalent to a dollop on your plate, so plan on ordering a side dish if you're hungry. Generous portions for dessert which I left behind because it was so rich.
food was "luke" warm and the corn beef cabbage was the worst I've ever had. The claim
chowder tasted good but it also was only warm. We've been there twice in two weeks and if
we ever come back for a show, we will find some other place to dine.
A good idea to eat here before a concert next door. We have eaten here quite a few times and have mostly been happy with our meals. Thursday night's Shepherd's Pie had good flavor but was sorely lacking in lamb....only 2 small bites could be found. The Wedge Salad was great!
Excellent food and service.
Great atmosphere and great food and drinks! Highly recommend.
Our first time at your restaurant and we will definitely be back! Our food was delicious and our server was top notch. Thank you!!
Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. Our server was attentive, nice and gave us recommendations on the menu when we couldn't decide, too many delicious choices! Will definitely be back!
Food was delicious, and out waiter Rick was wonderful and accomodating. Far exceeded our expectations!
I would go back on my next trip to Pennsylvania in a heartbeat.
Very good meal. Excellent price for prix fixe Sunday brunch. Highly recommend.
Our waiter, Joel, was attentive, entertaining, knowledgable and a real joy to have as our waiter. The food was outstanding to go with the incredible entertinment next door.
A truly wonderful night out.
Nice local stop for dinner when heading to a show next door. Varied menu with good service. My meat was a little overcooked for my liking but I did not sent it back.
Always excellent food, pleasant servers and good drinks. We go there before all concerts, wouldn't go elsewhere.
Food is excellent! Waitstaff are extremely nice and accommodating. Highly recommend the Washington House, especially before heading to the Sellersville Theater for a show. Great combo!
Brett is an amazing server!
Continues to enhance my whole concert experience!!!!
Great place to go for dinner before or after a show at the Sellersville theater.
Lunch was wonderful. Service was great. Love how its decorated!! Have been there many times over the years. I will be sure going back again!!
Fantastic service, food and beverages. Brought our European business associates here and they were very impressed - Thanks to the staff for making our dinner meeting a success
Best NY Strip Steak I ever had! We will definitely do it again!
Shift change at the bar when we areived produced a longer than acceptable wait and some confusion. So they need to work on how to handle that so patrons are not ignored and are acknowledged and served in a timely fashion.
Other than that, outstanding all the way around.
The restaurant called prior to the evening reservation time to talk about an arrangement to celebrate our friends 50th anniversary. They were very accommodating in meeting my choice on the options offered. Upon arrival more than one employee greeted us pleasantly and worked to accommodate us further with the special cake brought for the occasion. Our server, Joel, was amazing!! He was welcoming, patient, pleasant, attentive, efficient and professional....and charming. The service was paced well and the food was delicious. We all had different entrees and starters...they were enjoyed immensely. The menu was extensive and offered many good options for all tastes. We had a wonderful evening, only enhanced by the lovely ambience of Washington House. Our friends couldn’t have been made to feel more special than they were by the fine service and attention received at the Washington House.
Calamari was extremely over cooked.
Peirogie were fantastic. Acorn Squash excellent, 8oz. Filet okay? Said it came with asparagus, it came with string beans. Slightly under cooked. Our waitress seemed new but she was fun & adorable. The staff couldn't make a martini with a lemon/lime twist. That's weird. But we had a nice time and we'll be back. Thanks
