The Warwick Castle
The Warwick Castle is a lovely locals haunt set in the heart of Little Venice, welcoming visitors and neighbours to the area since 1848. Although updated the changes have been faithful to the original decor and charm of the building.
We pride ourselves on our genuine friendliness and warmth. There is something for each customer to enjoy, whether it is a chilled glass of delicious wine enjoyed at our outside tables in the lovely mews of Warwick Place on a sunny afternoon or stopping for a pint and slice of homemade sausage rolls in front of our open log fires on a winters evening, we welcome you all.

Lovely pub to while away an afternoon. They had owed games on hand to play and food was delicious.
Lovely, traditional pub, with welcoming staff. A few minutes walk from Little Venice down a quiet road. Substantial, well-cooked, tasty Sunday roast. Tasty house bitter and decent range of wines.
Thank you for the lovely review.
Good ambience, easy walk to Paddington station. Comfortable bar with okay pub food. Beers on tap.
Lovely Sunday roast and they do children’s portions too. Dog friendly pub. Only 4 stars as it was not piping hot.
Thank you for your kind review!
Best pub in London, easily. Amazing little pub tucked away in Little Venice, behind the Clifton Nursery Gardens. Outdoor seating is beautiful in the summer and spring. Good selection of draught beers, with both local and premium import world lagers like Asahi Super Dry and Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Big fan of the bbq chicken wings. Staff are always friendly and patrons are kind. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to have a pint (or 5).
Very lovely review, glad you enjoyed your wings!
Nice pub, service was a little lax but suited the ambience. Had to go to the bar to ask for menus and get drinks. Food was nice, focus on plant and not meat. Reasonable wine.
Thank you for your review!
Great food, great service and outstanding quiz from Dominic. We come from far and wide to this pub on a weekly basis because it’s such a fun night.
Thanks Becca xx
Lovely pub with chilled and friendly feel to it. Very friendly staff.
The staff were lovely and generally professional, and the pub itself is lovely with a good atmosphere. The food is poor though, starters were fine but mains and dessert not so much. I didn’t eat my roast as it just tasted off and pudding looked like a pathetic small sponge that was in the freezer for a year too long, and I was never asked by the staff what the problem was which was disappointing given the price. Would come back for drinks but not for food.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy your meal.
Wednesday night quiz night, awesome food, excellent table service for drinks, and decent grub too!
Thank you hope to see you soon
Loveliest staff here, we were well looked after and the food was delicious and big portions. Especially recommend the fish and chips with house made pea crush and chunky tartare 👍🏻👍🏻 Nice cosy, casual atmosphere at this tucked away neighbourhood pub.
What a lovely review
Casual pints before the match. Lovely pub and ambiance
Revisited this local pub for Sunday Lunch after quite a few years. Delighted to find a warm atmosphere and a very decent selection of beers and other drinks. I opted for the traditional roast beef lunch which was very decent but let down by the slightly over cooked beef and a rather thin gravy, both of which I was happy to overlook as everything else was cooked well. Lovely sweet and firm carrots, a generous serving of grilled hispi cabbage and crispy roast potatoes accompanied by a horse radish cream.
I guess everyone has their own idea of a perfect 'Sunday Roast' so it would be impossible to please all of the people all of the time, so although this meal was not perfect (in my head), I will be back to try other items on the menu in this gem of a pub.
Thank you for taking the time to review us , I have spoken to the chef about the gravy
A real shame as we love this pub and have been many times but it was not good. I think poor service can be put down to just 2 floor staff which is not enough in a busy pub, perhaps they had staffing issues due to illness/isolation...
What can't be excused is the food, £15 for what was described as a short rib burger with American cheddar - I knew it wasn't going to be good when I saw the processed cheese slice peeking out of the side!! The chips were cold and we had to send them back but by the time they arrived we had eaten the very average burgers. All in all very disappointing.
I am so sorry Mike you did not enjoy your visit , the Warwick is a lovely pub and we really want you to enjoy visiting us , perhaps give us another try and I can buy you a pint ?
nice place, great service
Another amazing food experience at the Warwick castle, impeccable service to boot!
Service was excellent and food well presented. Very good Haddock and Chips, but a little fatty with over fried batter. Outside lunchtime ambiance affected by deliveries and cigarette smoking drivers. Avoid delivery date and its well worth a visit.
I agree. it looks like a quiet road but is so busy.
We all had roasts and they weren't very good. Everything was weirdly both undercooked and overcooked in that the potatoes were mushy and pale and the chicken was dry and also with pale, squishy skin and the beef was tough and the pork belly was very squishy with the fat not rendered or crispy. The yorkies were burnt and the carrots were undercooked. Overall, terrible food at very high prices. The drinks were good and so was the service, but weirdly there was fairly loud American country music playing, which was often dreary as country music is wont to be, so it was strange on Father's Day. Wouldn't go back.
Very sad to hear this , thank you for taking the time to review us.
Great experience wonderful food amazing food
Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. Good food and lovely airy table by an open window.
Cracking pub in a lovely area; attentive and efficient staff.
Great atmosphere with good food and friendly staff. A traditional pub in little Venice
Thank you Richard
Great service from both staff on shift , fast service
Come again soo Thank you
Nice service- pretty basic food but good spot for casual drinks with friends
Thanks for the review.
Lovely surroundings, lovely food and very good service
Went for a Sunday roast. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious.
Such a wonderful evening, felt completely safe and comfortable. The staff at The Warwick went above and beyond with their style of service making the atmosphere even more enjoyable, felt like being at home. I certainly will be going back and recommending to friends and family.
Thanks for the review.
Love this place, excellent staff and lovely environment. Everything is super clean! Huge portions of food, great value for money. Quality was good but there's some room for improvement.
Came for the quiz, had a great night even though we didn’t win! Fish and chips were delicious, and they have a great selection of draughts. Will be returning with a stronger team!
Still running the quiz every Wednesday , though not tomorrow
We enjoyed our trip to Warwick Castle. Only down side is that there is limited vegetarian choices
Lots of veggie food now.
Okay food but way overpriced. Quite plain... moody unhelpful staff
Sorry this you did not enjoy your visit.
We used The Warwick Castle for a light lunch before a walk along the Regents Canal. Everything was great except for the leek and potato soup which I’m afraid wasn’t very nice at all. That said we’d absolutely use the pub again.
Excellent food and service. Returning customer. Particularly efficient Covid guidelines demonstrated by staff.
Great food and a really nice location, the pub is really cute
Not the pub's fault - but unfortunately there were lots of loud lads in the pub when we went and it made for an annoying experience. Also we were seated next to the gent's loos - lol - not ideal but not the pub's fault for being quite busy. Still good staff & drinks. :)
Hi Sophie, we don't usually get loud groups of lad lads but it can occasionally happen, I'm sorry it happened on your visit, thank you for the kind review otherwise.
Great pub with nice tasting food and decent selection of draught beers.
Hi Tom, thanks for the lovely review.
It is a nice pub with a warm atmosphere and a good service. If you are here for a pint, then go ahead.
The food on the other hand isn't good at all,-the only decent dish was the fish and chips- portions are ridiculously tiny and it is extremely overpriced for what you get.
It is a shame really as we absolutely loved it as people around and staff were so friendly and it felt great.
Thank you for your review, lovely words about the staff and atmosphere, so sorry to hear about your food experience, i agree the portions can be a little less generous on some dishes, which we don't unfortunatly get to decide on, although we have since then had a change of menu.
Sunday lunch - very limited food. Two roasts already gone so decided on a steak - also gone! Badly trained staff (not THEIR fault.).
We left after ten minutes and will not go back.
Hi Jo, Very sorry to hear this, sometimes we are much more busier than expected at midday and roasts are only available until they are gone, nevertheless i agree it is important to have enough servings on a sunday and we have since listened to your review and increased our quantity, we also had new staff at the time which are fully settled now and equipped to deal with much more, if you do decide to visit I'm sure it will be a totally different experience!
Popped in as I had heard good things about the pub, made to feel very welcome on arrival, felt safe in terms of the Covid precautions, staff very friendly.
Wife ordered cod and chips and my daughter and I went for the burger and fries.
Drinks wise, a very good choice, the wife had a g&t while I had an Asahi dry lager.
Service was excellent and staff are fun and friendly.
Food was better than expected and the wife’s cod and chips were quite probably the best I have ever tried . The burger and fries were also excellent.
Overall, very worth a visit and the pub has been frequented by many celebrities over the years, it’s also a grade 2 listed building
Thank you for the lovely review.
Great service as always!
