Love the Warrington, great look inside, great food. Unfortunately prices seen to have gone up, so more likely to be a special occasion than a regular local...

Sunday roast with with lockdown bubble, my partner's Xmas turkey was a little dry but my roast was outstanding. Service was prompt and friendly, this is my 'local' and the first time I had eaten here and will definitely be back. The wine list could do with some additional options too.

Met with a really warm welcome which boded well for the evening. Sadly the welcome didn't match the evening. Really let down by the food. We ordered the turkey and ham pie that was served lukewarm on top of cold mash. We then decided to both try the Christmas puddings both served cold and only with custard. Sadly we also didn't feel that the new social rules were well followed. Seeing three different people on three occasions go to the bar and place orders not wearing masks. Then a loud crazy table get up and jump all around the place shouting with none of them wearing masks in full sight of the staff. The building is lovely and held real promise but this is not somewhere we would go to again or tell friends to visit.

I love this place and I am happy to have had my Birthday Celebrations. The atmosphere is great, so are the staff, and the food is delicious, had a fantastic evening!!

Food was okay, but being told with 30 min to go before last call that we need to order a second meal was shocking, given we just ate and were full. Once we said we would rather leave, they backed off and allowed us to order another drink. Was a clear display of trying to force customers to clear out their kitchen. Also, being charged £20 for a double rum and Pepsi was ludicrous. Noticed many other charges much higher than expected on the menu, but got tired trying to reason with them. Used to love this place but they have let it slide and lost touch with they local customers and reality. Will never return. Plenty of other great places to go to.

Nice Pub. Food is very average and not really worth the high cost. The staff are nice and very attentive especially with all restrictions in place currently. Worth going for a drink and bar snacks, the main meals will disappoint.

Lovely ye olde pub, cosy and very friendly service, the staff seem like a good crew who enjoy looking after you - food is great, im veggie and loved it, missus is steak eater and has demanded we go back for Sunday lunch, price for 2 with drinks and starter was 45quid, worth it just to enjoy the decor :)

Heating wasn't on and staff literally came back and said they don't know how to turn it on. Sunday roast was okay but took 45 minutes to come out, only 3 choices for red wine, wouldn't go again except for a beer.

Dear Xavier, I am sorry you were disappointed. Indeed our boiler was not working but being Sunday we couldn't repair it. Standing heaters were brought in the afternoon as an emergency precaution. Regarding the wait, It wasn't flagged by any staff but I will definitely look into it. Our menu has 3 reds listed but it's being updated for the new. We have 7 reds by the glass, next time please ask a member of staff as I am sure we will have something for you. I hope you give us a change in future!
