So glad we revisited. Dave again provided excellent service despite being short-staffed. Grilled squid was even better than the first time; artichokes very tasty, love the hummus and soft warm pita, olives a nice variety and perfect compliment to the quail. Paella was ok but not authentic, though tasty but the duck rigatoni and trout made up for it. Chocolate mousse is a must and the apple with ice cream was scrumptious. And a fine bottle of Lewis Cellars wine complemented the entire experience. Hope to get there one more time before we leave the area. A very enjoyable and tasty evening.
Had an excellent meal and service. Nice live guitar music in the background.
Village Table is always a delight - the service is warm, welcoming and efficient. The food is really delicious and wonderfully prepared. This restaurant is truly a favorite of ours!
Bar tender yelled across room if i wanted my Manhattan up or on rocks
Waiter was unable to describe the meatballs did not know how quail was prepared and he was also being the front of house so service was poor. Plus i was one of maybe 6 diners
Quail was deep fried not pan fried old greasy taste snd completely overdone.
Beautiful corner of Mountain Village. Molly’s service was exceptional, Gordon, at the bar, was impeccable as always and the food is outstanding. We keep going back to this restaurant because it is so wonderful.
All the food courses I selected on their price fixe menu were excellent: crab cake starter, trout main course, cobbler dessert
Always delicious this year. Have you eaten there four times in the last six months and every time was great. Nice to sit outdoors and indoors is great because tables are reasonably spaced. Awesome bartender and super servers. Could eat the trout once a week! Wish they would bring back Nina’s flan But the chocolate mousse is close second on the dessert menu.
Excellent service & food! Dave is a fabulous server ❣️
A great surprise to find this gem with not only a varied and outstanding menu, but a gluten free menu also available. Decent wine list not to to mention the fabulous-not-your-usual-syrupy sweet mint cucumber martini! (Hard not to drink 2 or 3). The Calamari steak was cooked to perfection, tender and not too salty, the Caesar salad was lightly seasoned with a no-cream heavy dressing (yummy!), the trout polenta was perfectly cooked with tender, tasty baby green beans; the fried quail and greens was a perfect combo along with additional roasted artichoke hearts (we had to try them), the duck rigatoni was scrumptious and pasta cooked al dente, and the hummus with soft warmed pita was the best we've had in a long time. We are definitely returned as there are numerous selections on the menu we can't wait to try! A real treat for our first night to eat out. So glad we picked this within walking distance eatery.
Had a great evening dining on their patio which fronts Mtn Village Plaza. Great people watching spot with the bonus of live classical guitarist Kirk Drogsvold to serenade us! Great summer fixe pri
xe menu with great options for every course. And an always diverse and reasonably priced wine list. Worth the gondola ride from town!
Tapas were good. Ham presentation was poor.
Always a delight to dine at Village Table. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food is really delicious and the variety is great. This is the place to go!
Great summer pre fix menu. Our server Dave was excellent.
Great food, waiter was great. A little noisy as several children when we went but to be expected as is summertime and we went early to dinner.
Lots of great choices on the price fixe summer menu. The food was outstanding, the service was great, the wine was wonderful. It was a great choice.
Great food, great service, nice location. It really was a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Food was all very good. Portions were generous. The service was excellent, unlike so many restaurants now which seem understaffed. The prices were on the medium to high side, but this is a resort setting. Would definitely return.
The biggest issue here was with the paella and it's preparation. Paella is a dish that takes time for all the ingredients to come together. The tip off should have been them offering a shrimp, vegetarian and chicken and chorizo paella. We ordered the chicken and chorizo as well as the shrimp paella. It was obvious all were assembled from the same basic prep work. The rice had no saffron flavor OR color as well as being terribly over-cooked. There was zero broth in either dish. My wife's shrimp paella had exactly 3 large shrimp on top. The only difference in flavor between the two dishes was the meat that was in it. Instead of cooking a one dish entree like it should be the dish seemed to be assembled from a pot of rice, peas added after the fact and then whatever shrimp or chicken and chorizo added at the last minute. The chorizo seemed to have been pan fried before added because it was dry and crisp like pepperoni out of the oven.
The food was very good and the coursed out menu fun! We had a lovely time. The trout was really good as was the cheese plate and artichoke appetizers.
Just love the RED Trout and salads. Going to go again tonight.
Delicious food and great service. We really enjoyed the live, but soft music. Recommend highly.
Great and amazing food! A must go while in Telluride. Don’t miss it.
We found that the best bet at the Village Table were the tapas. We did not care for the paella. The rice was mushy and the proteins (chicken and chorizo in our case) were scant. They make an excellent martini.
Food is uninspired, service is so-so and the wine pairing for the prix fixe menu features wines that you can buy for $10 a bottle at the local grocery store. Hard pass for us.
The staff at Village Table is very attentive & does an excellent job even when the restaurant is full! We enjoyed their outstanding hummus& a Spanish cheese plate, then ratatouille & beef braise stew…. And finally strawberry shortcake for dessert!😋. Our condo is a 2 minute walk to the restaurant, so we are pleased to have a great spot so close!
We were expecting a lot more from this restaurant. The meatballs were swimming in a thin tasteless liquid. The grilled calamari steak was not tender and goat cheese salad was forgettable.
Perfect evening . Wonderful and helpful waitress . Food was excellent .an amazing varied menu with so many wonderful choices. We had grilled octopus (outstanding) grilled artichokes, trout , chicken and sausage Paella and the fruit cobbler Food was excellent with great service.
They did have a price Fix menu but you could also just order off the menu . We couldn’t resist the wine tasting of 3 drinks for $25 either. We got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Be sure to make a reservation. The restaurant is very popular.
Good food, good location, friendly atmosphere, would return
Trout was excellent despite overgrilled by a minute or so.
Never disappointed in over 10 visits.
Food was delicious and service was great!
It was okay. The waiter showed us a prefix menu and didn't tell us that we could order individual entres instead. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to realize we had the option.
Great experience! Amazing seafood paella (would have liked a couple more shrimp) but delicious. Quality, fresh ingredients. The vegan ratatouille was also a hit at our table as was the steak Frites. Service impeccable. Nice to take the gondola up walk around mountain village and then dine off the beaten path a bit. One of our favorites.
The food was amazing. Rob, our server, was so helpful. His recommendations for our group were great!
Never had a bad experience here. Food is consistently top notch.
Always a delight. The service is welcoming and friendly, and the food is consistently very delicious. We always enjoy dining at the Village Table.
Service was very good but the food was overpriced for the quality. You are paying for the ambience of a small restaurant located in the Mountain Village.
Food and service was excellent.
Yummy dinner such great flavors!
Our second time visiting the restaurant and enjoy their food. Three course price fix was offered but not required. Only complaint was soup of the day was some sort of bean soup but not one bean was found in the soup. A bit of a turn off for an expensive bowl of soup!
First time to Telluride abs did this for dinner our first night. Everything was wonderful, very quaint and food was amazing. Will be back!
