   In my reservation request, I asked to not be seated near children because of having a hyper hearing disability. And lo and behold the table next to us had three rather loud kids. I know you can’t control this, but I did put the request in before hand and that impacted my experience

   The service received was an absolute 10!!! Truly went out of her way to check in, even brought my wife a new version of their Skinny Margarita and she loved it…in the house. The Tuna Tostadas are out of this world and packed w flavor and the Yellowtail Sashimi fresh and full of flavor, nice touch to include the Cucumber Salad on the side of the Sashimi. We ordered 3 rolls to share and were deeply disappointed. The last roll we only ate two pieces and that was it. If we ever go back again, have been coming here every year for so many years, we would stick with the Tuna Tostadas and Sashimi and NO rolls.

   Every time we return to town, we schedule a dinner at The Venue. It’s the best sushi we have ever eaten and we look forward to eating there! Best sashimi and delicious rolls! Great staff - very personable!

   Perfectly respectable place with nice sushi. Hamachi served way too cold, but the Venue roll was surprisingly good (unusual) and the pickled vegetable roll was our favorite even though we're not vegetarians. Wouldn't go out of our way, but a good stop if you're shopping El Paseo. Super loud, and unremarkable interior.
