Front of the House - Butch was on his game. Kitchen - Smashing. Wait Staff - Lauren helpful; attentive; and menu knowledgeable. Meal - Bowl of Maryland Crab Soup and Shrimp Cocktail - both well seasoned. Very tasty. Highly recommended. Parking Lot - repairs and stripping - 2025. Welcome improvement. Seat cushions - Table 54. Material in disrepair. Clearly not up to the Atlas Restaurant Group standards.

This was our second trip in a row to Valley Inn that was disappointing. As with all Atlas restaurants, it was loud to the point that conversations are challenging. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered oysters that never arrived. My flat iron steak was incredibly tough. The twice-baked potato was mushy and had an overwhelming flavor of horseradish or mustard. I would have sent my dinner back, but no server came back to our table until we were all finishing out entrees. I mentioned it to the waitress and she comped a dessert. The manager never checked on us after I expressed my displeasure with the food. It's sad what has become of the Valley Inn since Atlas took over as we have been coming here for 15 years.

Service was slow and main course arrived warm, not hot. While one of the managers comped our main course, it definitely will affect our future decisions about whether to return. BTW, shrimp cocktails were absolutely outstanding.

Food was great, service was excellent, just VERY loud where we were seated - to the point my wife and I were shouting. We would have preferred a more quiet setting, but that's on us - they are doing a booming business ava I can't slight them for that.

Super inconsistent. I had a great meal earlier this week. Last night they forgot my soup, asparagus was undercooked and they redid it and steamed it with no flavor and still came out crunchy. Server was great.

I’m basically finished with this place - except for a nice summer day sitting outside just for the ambiance, there’s nothing left here that’s positive All the little things that made it special have been removed. Everyone’s favorite, the breadsticks were removed as soon as new owners took over and people still talk about it. But now the beignets too?!?! Nope - over and out. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Made reservations a week ahead. After requesting to be in dining room we were seated on the enclosed patio- that was freezing. Was told no other table available. The enclosure wasn’t sealed all the way around so the 30 degree air was just blowing in. Food was tasty but being so cold out it didn’t stay hot long. Service was fair. Large seafood tower didn’t really have a wow factor. Fried green tomatoes were very good. Eastern shore cob salad had plentiful toppings, but lettuce was big hard white pieces, not much green. Gumbo had shrimp w/ tails on - hard to cut off in the bowl. Espresso machine was broken. Brownie sundae was served on a plate - hard to eat ice cream off a plate w/ a spoon. Decorated pretty for the holidays. Spent over $500 for dinner for our group of 6.

Seated on the tented porch with a large birthday party… porch was exceptionally cold even with the heaters…. My feet were frozen . In addition the birthday party was loud making it difficult to have a conversation.
