    The food and service was amazing and if you love beef, the short ribs will not disappoint for brunch, lunch or dinner!!

    We waited for quite some time to place our order. Our food arrived before our drinks arrived. The drink order was suddenly wrong. One of the bloody Mary’s was supposed to be no salt. The other room with salt they both came without salt. One of the meals that was a Benny did not have egg on the top. All things were fixed, but it took time. I don’t think we will be going again soon. I think we will try some of the other alternative Eaves that have come into the area.

    Our order was messed up at every turn. Wrong plates, missing items, and food was slow coming out. Our waiter was as nice as could be but the mishaps with the food were hard to move past.

    A staple for friends and family. Love this place. Last couple of times the air is very humid making it somewhat uncomfortable. They have air coolers so not sure what is going on. We came for brunch this time. We ordered the bubbles mimosas- delish- and coffee along with two brunch dishes. The pancakes were the best I have had in a long time. The coffee is excellent but several of the creamer pods were out of date, so watch out for that.

    One of the dishes, the meatloaf, was not good in my opinion. Tried to do too much with a simple comfort food. The sides were good. The other entree, the chimichurri steak, was better. Ample portion and good sides. Dessert was the best. Key Lime pie that was rich and not too much of anything. Server was very good. But this will seem petty to some but I don't get a fine dining restaurant that doesn't serve bread.

    Not a Happy Birthday for my wife. We arrived early for our table, since they were pretty empty we got seated right away - in a far away cold corner. After no service for awhile I got up and found the Manager - Shawn - and asked him to mve our table somewhere warmer - he did. All the tables arund us were getting service - our waitress showed up and gave us water and took our drink orders. She came came by again and asked if we were ready to order - we did - still no drinks. My wife's soup showed up first - then the drinks - and the food soon after. That was the last we saw of our waitress for awhile. My wife's dinner was supposed to come with bread - and when I finally stood up and flagged our waitress down - we were both over half done with our meals and the drinks were long gone. My wife was polite and asked her about the bread - she confirmed the meal was supposed to come with bread. As we finished our meals - the second round of drinks showed up and the waitress said that they have to make the bread - my wife said to forget it because were done with our meals. The waitress came back and offered us a free desert in lieu of the missing bread. Very interesting, a table was seated behind up and was fully served, with drinks and desert and left before we fot our second drinks. Another table did get a nice Birthday desert and a song. This was the second time we tried the Union Kitchen and it will be the last.
