   Excellent steak, excellent service! Lighting was a bit glaring over the tables and price was slightly higher than other local chop houses, but I would come back again without question. Also loved the lettered dinner plates and stain glass in the bar.

   Filet mignon ordered Medium rare was closer to medium. Brussel sprouts were really good, but a bit soggy in the sauce and the ends were not trimmed off, a little disappointing!

   We had a wonderful meal, outstanding service from Ryan and a great atmosphere! We love eating at The Tenderloin Room and have always had a fantastic experience. Just wish they would bring back the mustard sauce that they used to serve (many years ago) on their tenderloin… we even heard another patron request it while we there!

   It was first night of a new menu and the food was so disappointing. Certainly the quality wasn’t reflected in the cost. Won’t be back. Many better steak houses in St Louis.

   A little pricey but worth every penny. The in-bone cowboy ribeye is the best steak and beats all others. The service is always excellent!

    What an enjoyable evening! My cousin and I had a great time reminiscing about visiting the Chase and Tenderloin Room during our childhood. The food was excellent - one of the best steaks I've had. The apetizer, salads and sides were perfect. And the complimentary valet parking made us feel that going into the City was that much more secure.

    We were glad to see our favorite Stl dining restaurant getting back to normal after Covid. My husband was so happy they were able to serve him his favorite dish after giving them a heads up before hand. Unfortunately, they no longer serve my favorite dessert dishes, made at the table. I must be honest, it plays a big part in why I enjoy the restaurant. You can imagine my disappointment when I realized they no longer offer it. I was told if I give them a heads up next time, they can accommodate me. I look forward to my favorite dessert, Cherries Jubilee. Until, next time. Cheers.

    I reserved this place for my love not only because it was Valentine’s Day but because it was his birthday… We are African Americans and when the waitress approached our table , I told her we will like to start off with appetizers…She looked at us with a stank face and stated them prices not included with the entreess as if we couldn’t afford it…. I was very defended she watched our table all night with a fake smile repeatedlu coming back to our table asking if we wanted our food box as we were eating… The place is nice and very elegant but it’s an upscale place and if they feel as if you don’t have money you will be treated as such…. If i couldn’t afford to pay my food i wouldn’t of ask for it, and the food is not worth the price, i would have rather went to Outback…..

    Dined early to avoid the craziness on Valentines Day.. Tenderloin room is always our place to go for special occasions. We had seafood dip which was perfect! Always a smoked old fashion or two on the bill as my husbands favorite. Our server Ryan was fabulous which always adds a bit to a dinning experience. We both had filets that were cooked to perfection and delicious as well as sides. We will be back soon as we always look forward to a great steak with a quite cozy atmosphere.

    Great ambiance, food was less than desirable for the price. Salads had too much dressing, lobster was not removed from shell, and did not come off the shell cleanly. Ribeye steaks, very thin cuts. Overall, service is still very good, and the ambiance inside the restaurant is fantastic. Kitchen definitely needs some work to continue at this price point.

    It was or first time there and it was ok. 2 of us ordered steak and lobster and the lobster came out very undercooked. One was worse than the other, but we were surprised when only 1 new one was brought out. The server even brought back a portion of the second person’s lobster on a plate to show the cooks but did not replace it? One of the steaks was supposed to be medium rare, and it was definitely more medium as mine was supposed to be medium and was definitely more medium well, when we told the waitress she just thanked us for letting her know did not offer to go get them remade.. I just feel like for spending as much as we did $600+ everything should have been perfect or fixed at least. The waitress was very friendly!! And the peppercorn tenderloin was delicious.

    The Tenderloin Room offers a warm setting for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Elegant but not stuffy. Classy, and a meal you will remember and savor until the next time you return, and you will want to go back.
